Abstract
Latar belakang: Diabetes merupakan penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kadar gula darah dalam tubuh yang tidak terkendali. Selain itu diabetes juga dapat menimbulkan komplikasi luka yaitu luka yang susah sembuh. Hal ini karena proses penyembuhan luka baik dalam proses inflamasi, proliferasi, atau pun remodeling luka terhambat. Apabila luka dibiarkan, maka akan menginduksi terjadinya berbagai komplikasi lain. Ekstrak daun Ficus religiosa dapat menyembuhkan luka pada penderita diabetes karena mengandung senyawa yang memiliki efek antiinflamasi, antioksidan, dan antidiabetes untuk menurunkan kadar gula darah secara spesifik. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen murni dengan metode Randomized Post Test Only Controlled Group Design. Penelitian dilakukan secara in vivo menggunakan subjek Tikus wistar (Rattus norvegicus) terbagi menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol negative, kontrol positif, perlakuan 1, perlakuan 2, dan perlakuan 3. Tikus diinduksi diabetes dengan menggunakan Streptozotocin 45 mg/KgBB. Semua kelompok perlakuan diinduksi luka eksisi 3 cm2, kelompok negative merupakan kelompok tanpa perlakuan, kontrol positif diberi terapi standar Povidone iodine ointment 5%. Kelompok perlakuan 1, 2, dan 3 diterapi dengan ekstrak metanol Ficus religiosa ointment berdosis 5w/w, 10w/w, dan 15w/w. Pengamatan laju penutupan luka dilakukan dengan menggunakan perbandingan potret dan menggunakan planimeter dengan interval 3 hari selama 12 hari, yaitu hari 6, 9 dan 12. Hasil: Hasil laju penutupan luka ektrak metanol daun Ficus religiosa ointment pada Tikus wistar (Rattus norvegicus) menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan pada kelompok perlakuan, utamanya ointment dengan dosis 5%. Kesimpulan: Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ektrak metanol daun Ficus religiosa ointment mempunyai efek dalam proses penyembuhan luka pada Diabetes.
English Abstract
Introduction: Diabetes is a metabolic disease characterized by uncontrolled increase in blood sugar levels in the body. In addition, diabetes can also lead to wound complication that are difficult to heal. This complication happened because the process of wound healing in the inflammation phase, proliferation, and remodeling is blocked. If the wound is left untreated, it will induce various complications. Ficus religiosa leaf extract can help to treat wounds in diabetics patient because it contains compounds that have antiinflammatory, antioxidant, and antidiabetic effects to reduce blood sugar levels specifically. Method:This research is a pure experiment with the Randomized Test Only Controlled Group Design method. The study was conducted in vivo using the subject of wistar rats (Rattus novegicus) divided into 5 groups, namely negative control, positive control, treatment 1, treatment 2, and treatment 3. The rats was induced as diabetes using Streptozotocin 45 mg / KgBB. All treatment groups were induced by 3 cm2 excision wounds, the negative group was a group without treatment, positive control was given standard therapy using povidone iodine ointment 5%. Treatment groups 1, 2, and 3 were treated with methanol extract Ficus religiosa ointment with a dose of 5w / w, 10w / w, and 15w / w. Observation of wound closure rate was done by using portrait comparison and using a planimeter at 3 days intervals for 12 days, namely days 6, 9 and 12. Result: The results of the wound closure rate using the methanol leaves extract of Ficus religiosa ointment in wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) showed significant results in the treatment group, especially ointment with a dose of 5%. Conclusion: This shows that the methanol leaves extract of Ficus religiosa ointment can affect the wound healing process in Diabetes.
