Abstract
Keterlibatan pasien merupakan aspek penting dalam mutu pelayanan kesehatan, yang dapat diwujudkan dalam beberapa bentuk salah satunya pengambilan keputusan bersama, yaitu adalah melibatkan pasien dan perawat dalam pengambilan keputusan tentang perawatan dan pengobatan. Pasien juga harus mendukung dalam mengambil tanggung jawab lebih menjaga dan meningkatkan kesehatan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor karakteristik pasien dan keluarga (usia, status ekonomi, pendidikan, pekerjaan) dengan keterlibatan pasien di rawat inap Rumah Sakit Puri Bunda. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dan menggunakan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien di rumah sakit Puri Bunda Kota Malang. Tehnik sampling mempergunakan concecutive sampling dengan besar sampel 106 orang. Alat untuk proses pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner, selanjutnya dianalisa dengan uji pearson dan annova. Keputusan diambil dengan membandingkan nilai probabilitas α < 0.05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan Hasil uji one way ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa tidak ditemukan perbedaan rerata skor keterlibatan berdasarkan status ekonomi, status pendidikan dan jenis pekerjaan. Untuk jenis pekerjaan yang dilakukan dengan statistik Uji T sebesar 1.427 dan probabilitas sebesar 0.157, yang menggambarkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan keterlibatan pasien kelompok bekerja dengan keterlibatan pasien kelompok tidak bekerja. Secara keseluruhan hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia, status ekonomi, jenis pekerjaan, dan status pendidikan dengan keterlibatan pasien. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlu dipikirkan beberapa upaya untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan pasien dan keluarga tanpa memperhatikan usia, status ekonomi, jenis pekerjaan, dan status penddikan. Penelitian tersebut mendapatkan bahwa pengetahuan, bukan tingkat pendidikan, yang berpengaruh terhadap keterlibatan pasien dalam program pengobatan
English Abstract
Patient involvement is and important aspect of health care service qualities, which can be manifested in several forms. First patient involvement is patients and nurses get involved in decision making about the patient’s treatment and health care. Patient should support in taking more reponsibility for things they can do to maintain and improve their health. This study aims to determine the effect of patient and family’s characteristic factors (age, economic status, education, and occupation)with patient involvement at the Puri Bunda Hospital’s inpatient. This research uses cross sectional design and survey method. The population in this research is patients at Puri Bunda Hospital in Malang City. The sampling technique uses concecutive sampling with a sample of 106 people. The instrument for data collection process is a questionnaire, then analyzed by pearson and annova test. The decision is made by comparing probabilty value α< 0.05. The research results show that the one way ANOVA result shows no difference between the average score of involvement based on economic status, education status, and type of occupation. For the type of occupation which is done by T test statistic is 1,427 and the probability is 0.157, which shows no significant difference between the involvement of working patient group and the involvement of non-working patient group. Overall, the results show that there is no significant relationship between age, economic status, type of occupation, and educational status with patient involvement in the treatment process. In this research shows that it is necessary to consider some efforts to increase the patient and families involvement regardless of the age, economic status, type of occupation, and education status. The research obtains that knowledge, not education status, effects the patient involvement in health care program.
