Abstract
Remaja putri akan kehilangan darah yang bisa menyebabkan penurunan kadar hemoglobin saat menstruasi. Zat besi diperlukan untuk memproduksi darah (Hb). Pilihan sumber asupan yang mengandung vitamin C diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin saat menstruasi. Buah Jambu biji merah memiliki kandungan vitamin C yang tinggi yaitu sebanyak 87 mg/100 gram. Vitamin C berperan dalam mempercepat penyerapan dari zat besi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pemberian jus jambu biji merah (Psidium guajava L.) terhadap kadar hemoglobin (Hb) darah saat menstruasi pada remaja putri di Asrama MAN 1 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini bersifat true experimental dengan rancangan Randomized Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Sampel dipilih dengan cara Simple Random Sampling untuk dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol (tidak diberikan perlakuan apapun), perlakuan 1 (200 mL/orang/hari), perlakuan 2 (250 mL/orang/hari), dan perlakuan 3 (300 mL/orang/hari) dengan lama perlakuan selama 5 hari menstruasi. Kadar hemoglobin (Hb) darah diukur menggunakan Hemoglobin testing system Quik- Check. Uji statistik menggunakan uji parametrik, yaitu uji One Way ANOVA untuk menguji pengaruh pemberian jus jambu biji merah terhadap kadar hemoglobin (Hb) darah saat menstruasi dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey HSD untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) darah saat menstruasi antar kelompok perlakuan. Hasil dari uji One Way ANOVA didapatkan p=0,000 sehingga terdapat pengaruh jus jambu biji merah terhadap kadar hemoglobin (Hb) darah saat menstruasi. Hasil uji Tukey HSD terbukti adanya perbedaan kadar hemglobin (Hb) darah antar kelompok, yaitu untuk kelompok kontrol dengan P1 (p=0,004), kontrol dengan P2 (p=0,000), kontrol dengan P3 (p=0,000), P1 dengan P2 (p=0,000), dan P1 dengan P3 (p=0,000). Namun kelompok P2 dengan P3 memiliki nilai yang tidak signifikan (p=0,561). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh pemberian jus jambu biji merah (Psidium guajava L.) terhadap kadar hemoglobin (Hb) darah saat menstruasi pada remaja putri.
English Abstract
During menstruation period, young lady will loose their blood that can cause the decrease of haemoglobin levels. Iron is needed for producing blood. The choice of food input containing vitamin C is needed to increase haemoglobin levels at menstruation period. Red guava fruits has high content of vitamin C as much as 87 mg/100 gram. Vitamin C in functions in quickening the absorbsen of iron. This objective of this research was to know the effect of juice of red guava on haemoglobin levels at menstruation period on young lady in dometory of MAN 1 Malang. This research is true experimental with Randomize Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The samples were choosen using simple random sampling to be divided into 4 groups, they are control group (no treatment), treatment group 1 (200 mL/person/day), treatment group 2 (250 mL/person/day), and treatment group 3 (300 mL/person/day) with the length of treatment during 5 days of menstruation. Haemoglobin levels was measured using Hemoglobin testing system Quik-Check. Statistical test used was parametric test, that was One Way ANOVA test to test the effect of red guava juice toward blood haemoglobin levels at menstruation period continued using Tukey HSD test to know the difference of blood haemoglobin levels at the menstruation period among treatment groups. The result of One Way ANOVA test is p=0,000 so that there is the effect of red guava juice toward blood haemoglobin levels at menstruation period. The result of Tukey HSD test proofs that there is difference of blood haemoglobin levels among groups, they are for control group with P1 (0,004), control group with P2 (0,000), control group with P3 (0,000), P1 group with P2(0,000), and P1 group with P3 (0,000). However, P2 group with P3 have insignificant value (0,561).The conclusion of this research is that there is effect of juice of red guava on haemoglobin levels at menstruation period on young lady.
