Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas analisis pengaruh polutan garam terhadap tingkat arus bocor isolator piring berbahan kaca dengan lapisan hidrofobik. Untuk menyamakan kondisi di lapangan, digunakan pengotor yang berupa larutan garam dengan variasi massa garam yaitu: 10 gram, 30 gram, dan 50 gram untuk merepresentasikan zat polutan yang menempel pada permukaan isolator piring berbahan kaca. Pada penelitian ini, larutan garam (zat polutan) disemprotkan pada permukaan isolator piring berbahan kaca sebelum dan sesudah dilapisi lapisan hidrofobik dengan menggunakan sprayer. Variasi tegangan uji yang digunakan mulai dari 5 kV, 10 kV, 15 kV, 20 kV, 25 kV,dan 30 kV. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan hasil bahwa polutan garam berpengaruh terhadap arus bocor. Pada tegangan 30 kV, dengan kondisi bersih sebelum dan sesudah dilapisi lapisan hidrofobik didapatkan arus bocor yang mengalir dipermukaan isolator sebesar 447,24 μA dan 444,20 μA dengan persentasi penurunan arus bocor sebesar 0,68%. Untuk kondisi berpolutan tegangan 30 kV pada kondisi sebelum dan sesudah dilapisi lapisan hidrofobik dengan nilai konduktivitias larutan garam 945 mS/cm didapatkan arus bocor yang mengalir dipermukaan isolator sebesar 549,64 μA dan 455,30 μA dengan presentasi penurusan arus bocor sebesar 17,16%. Pada penelitian ini, semakin besar konduktivitas larutan garam maka arus bocor yang mengalir pada isolator juga akan semakin besar, pemberian lapisan hidrofobik pada permukaan isolator dapat menurunkan nilai arus bocor. Arus bocor yang mengalir pada permukaan isolator piring berbahan kaca akan menyebabkan rugi daya listrik dan rugi energi listrik.

English Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the effect of salt pollutants on the level of leakage current of insulator plates made from glass with a hydrophobic layer. To equalize the conditions in the field, used an impurity in the form of saline solution with salt mass variations, namely: 10 grams, 30 grams, and 50 grams to represent pollutant substances attached to the surface of the insulator plate made of glass. In this study, salt solution (pollutant substance) was sprayed on the surface of the plate insulator made of glass before and after being coated with a hydrophobic layer using a sprayer. Variation in the test voltage used starts from 5 kV, 10 kV, 15 kV, 20 kV, 25 kV, and 30 kV. From the results of the test, it was found that salt pollutants affect leakage currents. At a voltage of 30 kV, with clean conditions before and after being coated with a hydrophobic layer, leakage currents flowing at the surface of the insulator were obtained at 447.24 μA and 444.20 μA with a percentage of leakage current decreasing by 0.68%. For conditions of 30 kV voltage polluting in conditions before and after being coated with a hydrophobic layer with a value of conductivity of salt solution 945 mS / cm obtained leakage currents flowing on the surface of the insulator at 549.64 μA and 455.30 μA with a presentation of leaking current flowing at 17.16% . In this study, the greater the conductivity of the salt solution, the leakage current flowing in the insulator will also be greater, the hydrophobic coating on the surface of the insulator can reduce the value of the leakage current. Leakage current that flows on the surface of the insulator plate made of glass will cause loss of electrical power and loss of electrical energy.
