Christanti, Meilani (2018) Korelasi Antara Asupan Karbohidrat Tinggi Indeks Glikemik Terhadap Derajat Keparahan Premenstrual Syndrome Pada Remaja Putri Sekolah Menengah Atas Brawijaya Smart School Kota Malang. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

This research used an observational analytic design with cross-sectional study. The respondences were choosen using purposive sampling in total 57 respondences. The severity of premenstrual syndrome were assessed using SPAF (Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Syndrome) and food history were assessed using SQ-FFQ (Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire). Data were analyzed by the Spearman Correlation. Spearman Correlation test results found that p = 0,502 (p > 0,05). The conclusion of this research is there is no significant correlation between high glycemic index food and the severity of premenstrual syndrome in young lady on SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang.
