Abstract
Tindakan invasif pemberian obat melalui injeksi intravena (bolus) merupakan salah satu tindakan keperawatan yang dapat menyebabkan rasa nyeri pada anak, sehingga diperlukan cara untuk menajemen nyeri. Salah satu cara untuk manajemen nyeri yaitu dengan terapi bermain game edukasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi bermain game edukasi berbasis smartphone terhadap tingkat nyeri pada anak usia prasekolah (4-6 tahun) yang menjalani hospitalisasi di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah “Kepanjen” Kanjuruhan Kabupaten Malang pada ruangan EmpuTantular. Metode yang digunakan adalah post only Quasy Eksperiment, melalui game edukasi yang bernama “Rumah Sakit Panda Kecil” yang dimainkan melalui smartphone selama 20 menit sebelum dan selama dilakukan tindakan pemberian obat melalui injeksi intravena (bolus). Nyeri selama pemberian injeksi intravena (bolus) diukur dengan skor FLACC. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 44 anak yang dirawat inap di rumah sakit selama minimal 2 hari, dengan 22 anak masuk dalam kelompok kontrol dan 22 anak dalam kelompok intervensi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini didapatkan hasil rata-rata tingkat nyeri pada kelompok intervensi yang signifikan lebih rendah dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (p<0,000) dengan rata-rata tingkat nyeri 1,86 pada kelompok intervensi dan 6,68 pada kelompok kontrol. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terapi bermain game edukasi berbasis smartphone berpengaruh terhadap tingkat nyeri akibat pemberian obat melalui injeksi intravena (bolus) pada anak usia prasekolah (4-6 tahun) yang menjalani hospitalisasi. Pemberian terapi bermain game “Rumah Sakit Panda Kecil” bisa diterapkan di rumah sakit dalam memanagemen nyeri anak pada saat dilakukan pemberian obat melalui injeksi intravena (bolus).
English Abstract
Intravenous Drug Injection is one of the invasive nursing interventions that can cause pain for the patient, especially children who’s still susceptible to pain, and during hospitalization, children may experience it. Due to this intervention, a ways to manage the pain that the children feel is needed. One of the ways is through a play therapy by playing an educational games. This aim of this study is to know the effect of play educational games by using smartphone on pain level due to intravenous drug injection (bolus injection) on hospitalized preschool children (4-6 years) at General Hospital "Kepanjen" Kanjuruhan Malang in EmpuTantular Ward. The method that used in this study is Post Only Quasy Experiment, through educational game called "Rumah Sakit Panda Kecil" that is played by using smartphone for 20 minutes before and during the child gets their intravenous drug injection. The respondents in this study amounted 44 children who were admitted in the hospital for at least 2 days, who divided into 2 groups, 22 children in the control group and 22 children in the intervention group. This study used T test and FLACC scale, the results obtained that the average pain in intervention group (1,86) are lower than the control group (6,68). The result shows that the p-value 0,000<0,05 which means there was a significant effect from giving a play therapy by playing educational game using smartphone on pain level of preschool children (4-6 years) when they get intravenous drug injection during hospitalization. So it can be concluded that play therapy by playing educationan game using smartphone has effect on the pain level of preschool children (4-6 years) when they get intravenous drug injection during hospitalization.
