Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Gondanglegi merupakan sekolah menengah pertama dengan jumlah guru pengajar mencapai 45 dan jumlah siswa rata-rata mencapai 750 setiap tahunnya. Penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Gondanglegi bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses bisnis pengelolaan nilai siswa agar menjadi lebih efisien dalam waktu pengerjaan dan proses pencetakan rapor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Human Centered Design (HCD). Metode ini digunakan karena terdapat proses iterasi untuk mengakomodasi perubahan kebutuhan secara cepat. Terdapat 4 tahapan dalam metode HCD yaitu understand and specify context of use, specify user requirements, produce design solutions dan evaluate the design against requirement. Hasil dari penelitian ini merupakan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website. Sistem informasi yang dibangun dilakukan pengujian menggunakan black-box yang menghasilkan nilai valid pada semua test case. Kemudian compatibility digunakan untuk menguji kebutuhan non-fungsional dengan hasil sukses di semua peramban yang diuji. Sedangkan pada pengujian usability terdapat 3 aspek yaitu efektifitas, efisiensi dan kepuasan pengguna. Dalam penentuan aspek efektivitas dan efisiensi, peneliti membuat beberapa tugas yang mengacu pada hasil tujuan yang didapatkan dari identifikasi goal and task pengguna pada masing-masing kelompok pengguna. Hasil dari usability testing pada aspek efektifitas dari rata-rata seluruh kelompok pengguna sebesar 98%. Sedangkan pada aspek efisiensi rata-rata keseluruhan total aspek efisiensi pada kelompok pengguna sebesar 93%. Pada aspek kepuasan pengguna peneliti menggunakan kuesioner The Post Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ). Dalam PSSUQ terdapat 16 pertanyaan dengan skala nilai 1-7. Hasil dari kuesioner PSSUQ dilakukan pengelompokan menjadi 4 kategori yaitu: SysQual, InfoQual, IntQual dan Overall. Setelah dikelompokkan didapatkan score rata-rata seluruh kategori mencapai 1.64. Kuesioner PSSUQ sendiri mempunyai prinsip lower score high usability, dimana jika skor yang didapat semakin kecil maka usability-nya semakin besar. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi yang telah dibangun memiliki usability yang tinggi.

English Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Gondanglegi is a junior high school with a total teacher reaching 45 and the average number of students reaches 750 each year. The research at SMP Negeri 1 Gondanglegi was aimed to improve the business process of managing student grades to be more efficient in the working time and student report card printing process. The method used in this study was Human Centered Design (HCD). This method is used because there is an iterative process to accommodate changing needs quickly. There are four stages in the HCD method is understand and specify context of use, specify user requirements, produce design solutions and evaluate the design against requirement. Results from this study was a web-based information system. The information system built was tested using a black-box that produces valid values in all test cases. Then compatibility was used to test non-functional requirements with success on all browsers tested. While in usability testing there are 3 aspects: effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction. In determining aspects of effectiveness and efficiency, the researcher made several assignments that referred to the results of the objectives obtained from identifying the goal and task of the users in each user group. The results of usability testing on the aspect of effectiveness of the average of all user groups is 98%. While on the average efficiency aspect the overall total efficiency aspects in the user group are 93%. In the aspect of user satisfaction researchers used questionnaires The Post Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ). In PSSUQ there are 16 questions with a value scale 1-7. The results of the PSSUQ questionnaire were grouped into 4 categories: SysQual, InfoQual, IntQual and Overall. After grouping, the average score of all categories reached 1.64. The PSSUQ questionnaire has the principle of lower score high usability, where if the score obtained is getting smaller then the usability is getting bigger. So it can be concluded that the information system that has been built has high usability.
