Abstract
Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pariwisata dapat diwujudkan dalam pengembangan desa wisata serta diharapkan dapat memberikan kehidupan masayarakat desa yang lebih sejahtera. Pengembangan Desa Wisata Tulungrejo merupakan wujud dari pemberdayaan masyarakat dan telah memberikan dampak yang positif bagi masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui atraksi wisata yang ada di Desa Tulungrejo dan menganalisis partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan pariwisata serta dampaknya. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Tulungrejo yang merupakan desa wisata yang sukses dan pernah meraih posisi lima besar desa wisata terbaik di Indonesia. Penelitian memiliki fokus yaitu mengetahui atraksi wisata yang ada di Desa Tulungrejo, menganalisis bentuk-bentuk partisipasi masyarakat Desa Tulungrejo serta menganalisis dampak negatif dan posistif pengembangan wisata bagi perekonomian masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa atraksi wisata di Desa Tulungrejo sangat beragam, antara lain wisata alam, wisata buatan, wisata agro, wisata sejarah, dan wisata religi. Hampir seluruh masyarakat Desa Tulungrejo telah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan wisata dan telah siap dalam industri pariwisata. Partisipasi masyarakat Desa Tulungrejo lebih dari satu bentuk partisipasi. Pengembangan Desa Wisata Tulungrejo menciptakan kegiatan ekonomi yang lebih bagi masyarakat. Terciptanya lapangan pekerjaan baru, adanya tambahan pendapatan bagi petani, serta meningkatnya nilai buah apel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti memberikan rekomendasi yaitu sosialisasi lebih lanjut dari POKDARWIS Desa Tulungrejo untuk mengajak masyarakat yang belum aktif, salah satunya dengan mengadakan acara adat desa yang melibatkan seluruh masyarakat kemudian acara tersebut dipromosikan lebih luas sehingga menjadi suatu atraksi wisata dan menarik minat wisatawan.
English Abstract
Community participation in tourism can be realized in rural tourism development and expected to provide life of the village community more prosperous. The rural tourism development in Tulungrejo is a form of community empowerment and has had a positive impact on the local community. This research uses descriptive qualitative methode with the aim to know the existing tourist attraction in Tulungrejo and analyze the participation of community to the development of tourism and its impact. The research was conducted in Tulungrejo Village wich is a successful tourism village and has won the top five best tourist village in Indonesia. The research focuces on knowing tourism attraction in Tulunrejo, analyzing the form of community oarticipation and analyzing the positive and negative impacts of tourism development for the community income. The results showed that tourism attractions very diverse, including natural attractions, theme park, agro tourism, historical tours, and religious tourism. Almost all the communities of Tulungrejo have participated in tourism and are ready in the tourism industry. The participaton of community is more than one form participation. The tourism development creates more economic activity for the community. Such as the creation of the new job, the additional income for farmers, and the increased value of apples. Based on the result, it give recommendation that is futher socialization from POKDARWIS of Tulungrejo to invite the community which not active yet, one of them is by conducting event of village custom which involves entire society then the event is promoted more widely so become a tourist attraction and attract tourist interest.
