Abstract
Era sekarang ini katalog online (OPAC) sudah menjadi sebuah pilihan alternatif untuk mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi informasi dalam hal ini OPAC merupakan suatu bentuk alat bantu penelusuran infomasi yang sangat nyata pada saat ini. OPAC juga merupakan puncaknya dari perkembangan sejarah dari katalog yang ada. OPAC ini dapat diakses kapan dan dimana saja, karena penggunaanya tidak harus dilakukan di perpustakaan tersebut dan juga tidak harus pada jam buka perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, mendeskripsikan, dan menganalisis efektivitas pemustaka dalam memanfaatkan OPAC berbasis INLISLite versi 3 di Perpustakaan Universitas Brawijaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tenik analisis data statistika deskriptif. Sampel sebanyak 100 orang pemustaka Perpustakaan Universitas Brawijaya. Data penelitian didapatkan dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner sebagai instrumen utama pengumpulan data dan akan diuji keandalannya melalui SPSS. Variabel penelitian ini variabel tunggal Efektivitas Pemustaka dalam Memanfaatkan Katalog Online (OPAC) Berbasis INLISLite Versi 3 dengan indikator penilaian: Kualitas Sistem, Kualitas Informasi, Penggunaan, Kepuasan Pengguna, Dampak Individu, dan Dampak Organisasi. Persepsi Pemustaka Terhadap Pemanfaatan Katalog Online (OPAC) Berbasis INLISLite Versi 3 diketahui melalui analisis perhitungan skor kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa masing-masing indikator penelitian memperoleh nilai efektivitas yang berbeda. Nilai efektivitas tertinggi adalah indikator kualitas sistem yaitu sebesar 3,78, diikuti oleh tingkat efektivitas indikator dampak organisasi sebesar 3,75, selanjutnya yang ketigas adalah tingkat efektivitas indikator kualitas informasi yaitu sebesar 3,73, yang keempat adalah tingkat efektivitas indikator kepuasan pengguna sebesar 3,61. Selanjutnya diurutan kelima adalah tingkat efektivitas indikator penggunaan sebesar 3,59 dan diurutan yang terakhir adalah tingkat efektivitas indikator dampak individu sebesar 3,41. Analisis tanggapan yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan skor kuesioner, didapatkan gambaran bahwa persepsi pemustaka terhadap efektivitas pemanfaatan OPAC di Perpustakaan Universitas Brawijaya sudah cukup baik dan OPAC sudah melakukan kinerjanya dengan baik dalam memenuhi keinginan pemustaka.
English Abstract
This current era, the online catalog (OPAC) has become an alternative choice to follow the development of science and information technology, in this case OPAC is a form of information tracking tool that is very real at this time. OPAC is also the peak of the historical development from an existing catalog. OPAC can be accessed anytime and anywhere because its use should not be did in the library and also should not on library's opening hours. This research aims to find, describe, and analyze the effectiveness of user in using OPAC based on INLISLite version 3 in UB Library. The method used is a descriptive quantitative method with data analysis descriptive statistics. The sample of 100 people of the librarian of Brawijaya University. The research data obtained from the questionnaire distribution as the main instrument of data collection and will be tested its reliability through SPSS. The variable of this research is single variable of User Effectiveness in Utilizing Online Catalog (OPAC) Based on INLISLite Version 3 with assessment indicators: System Quality, Information Quality, Usage, User Satisfaction, Individual Impact, and Organizational Impact. Perception of User Against Online Catalog Utilization (OPAC) Based on INLISLite Version 3 in Universitas Brawijaya Library that known through analysis of calculation of questionnaire score. The research result stated that each research indicator got different effectiveness value. The highest effectiveness value is the system quality which have 3.78, followed by the effectiveness level of the organizational impact indicator is 3.75, then the third is the effectiveness level of the information quality indicator is 3.73, the fourth is the effectiveness level of user satisfaction indicator is 3,61. Next, the fifth is the effectiveness level of the usage indicator is 3.59 and the last one is the effectiveness level of individual impact indicator is 3.41. Analysis of responses obtained from the results of the calculation of the questionnaire score got the picture that the librarian in utilizing OPAC in the Library of Brawijaya University is good enough and OPAC has performed well in fulfilling the desire of the user.
