Abstract
Pengendalian pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk di Indonesia saat ini menjadi salah satu prioritas utama bagi pemerintah. Salah satu upaya prioritas yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah melalui Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) dalam mengendalikan jumlah penduduk yaitu melalui Program Keluarga Berencana (KB) dengan metode alat kontrasepsi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh umur, tingkat pendidikan, dukungan keluarga, akses fisik dan geografis, akses ekonomi dan akses jenis dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap keputusan wanita pasangan usia subur dalam menggunakan alat kontrasepsi di Kota Batu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode survey cross sectional dan cara pengambilan sampelnya secara stratified random sampling Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 wanita pasangan usia subur di Kota Batu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi model logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel umur memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap keputusan wanita pasangan usia subur dalam penggunaan alat kontrasepsi di Kota Batu. Variabel tingkat pendidikan, dukungan keluarga, akses fisik dan geografis, akses ekonomi, dan akses fisik dan kualitas pelayanan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap keputusan wanita pasangan usia subur dalam menggunakan alat kontrasepsi namun tidak signifikan. Saran dari penelitian ini bagi Pemerintah Kota Batu, khususnya DP3APPKB sebaiknya menambah jumlah petugas PLKB agar pelaksanaan program KB bisa ideal dan sesuai dengan standar yaitu 1 orang PLKB membina 1 Desa di Kota Batu dan pelaksanaan program Safari KB dilakukan tidak hanya pada ada acara-acara tertentu, tetapi dilakukan secara rutin setiap bulan sehingga akan dapat meningkatkan jumlah akseptor baru dalam jumlah yang banyak. Bagi PLKB sebaiknya lebih meningkatkan penyebaran informasi, penyuluhan, sosialisasi dan pendidikan kesehatan khusunya tentang pentingnya menggunakan alat kontrasepsi bagi wanita pasangan usia subur. Bagi petugas di Puskesmas diharapkan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas pemberian pelayanan keluarga berencana kepada masyarakat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan terbukti apabila pemberian pelayanan semakin baik akan dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap keputusan seseorang dalam menggunakan alat kontrasepsi.
English Abstract
The control of population growth in Indonesia is now one of the top priorities for the government. One of the priority efforts undertaken by the government through the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) in controlling the population is through the Family Planning Program (Program Keluarga Berencana) with contraceptive method. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of age, education level, family support, physical and geographic access, economic access and type and quality of service access to the decision of women of fertile couples in using contraceptives in Batu City. This research is a kind of quantitative research with descriptive approach. Methods of data collection using cross-sectional survey method and the sampling method is stratified random sampling from three districts in Batu City, Bumiaji Subdistrict, Batu Sub-District and Junrejo Sub-District. The population in this study as many as 40,201 women couples of childbearing age, with a sample of 100 women of fertile couples. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and logit regression model analysis The results of this study indicate that the age variable has a negative influence on the decision of women of fertile couples in using contraceptives in Batu City. The variables of education level, family support, physical and geographical access, economic access, and physical access and service quality have a positive influence on the decision on the decision of women of fertile couples in using contraceptives but not significant. Suggestions from this study for Batu City Government, especially DP3APPKB should increase the number of PLKB officers so that the implementation of family planning program can be ideal and in accordance with the standard that is 1 person PLKB fostering 1 Village and for the implementation of Safari KB program should be done not only on certain events, but it is routinely done monthly so it will be able to increase the number of new acceptors in large quantities. For PLKB should further improve the dissemination of information, counseling, socialization and health education especially about the use of contraceptives for women of fertile couples. For officers at Puskesmas it is expected to maintain and improve the quality of family planning service to the community. This is because proven if the better service delivery will be able to give influence to a person's decision in using contraception.
