Abstract
Kabupaten Tulungagung adalah salah satu Kabupaten di Jawa Timur yang sebagian besar wilayah daerahnya pegunungan yang relatif tandus dan merupakan pegunungan kapur selatan Jawa Timur. Salah satu produk yang potensial untuk dijadikan produk unggulan khas Tulungagung adalah produk keripik gadung. Salah satu UMKM yang dikenal dengan produk keripik gadung terletak di Kecamatan Kalidawir, Kabupaten Tulungagung. Saat ini kinerja UMKM keripik gadung Kecamatan Kalidawir belum optimal karena beberapa kendala terkait manajemen rantai pasok. Kendala pertama persediaan bahan baku yang kurang baik, bahan baku bersifat musiman dan harus didatangkan dari luar Kabupaten Tulungagung sehingga harus mengeluarkan biaya lebih besar untuk memenuhinya. Permasalahan lain yaitu keterbatasan akses pasar peran kelembagaan sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan daya saing usaha pada UMKM kripik gadung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh kelembagaan rantai pasok terhadap kinerja dan daya saing UMKM dan pengaruh kinerja terhadap daya saing UMKM. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis). Responden berjumlah 20 orang yang berasal dari pemilik UMKM keripik gadung di Kecamatan Kalidawir. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah kelembagaan rantai pasok (4 indikator), kinerja UMKM (3 indikator), dan daya saing usaha (3 indikator). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui nilai AFIT sebesar 0,439. Kelembagaan rantai pasok berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM. Komitmen merupakan indikator yang memberi pengaruh besar pada kelembagaan rantai pasok. Kelembagaan rantai pasok berpengaruh positif dan signifikan MARISAH ENDI ANGGRAINI. 145100301111034. Pada kinerja UMKM dan daya saing usaha berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan. Adanya peningkatan daya saing tidak didasarkan pada peningkatan dan penurunan kinerja, melainkan pada adanya kesempatan saling sharing antar pengusaha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian juga diketahui bahwa kinerja usaha memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan antara kelembagaan rantai pasok terhadap daya saing usaha.
English Abstract
Tulungagung regency is one of the districts in East Java that most of the region is relatively barren mountains and is the southern limestone mountains of East Java. One of the potential products to be a superior product of Tulungagung is the product of gadung chips.One of the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) products is gadung chips which is produced in Kalidawir sub-district, Tulungagung regency. Currently, the MSME performance of gadung chips production in Kalidawir is not optimal yet, due to some obstacles related to supply chain management. The first obstacle is poor supply of raw material due to seasonal-produce raw material and imported from outside of the district. The other obstacle is the limited access to the market. The role of institutional management is highly needed to increase the performance and competitiveness of the MSME of gadung chips. The purpose of this research is to acknowledge the effect of the supply chain institutional towards the performance and competitiveness of MSME. In addition, the purpose is also to observe the working performance effect towards the MSME competitiveness. The approach applied in this research is GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis). The research involves 20 respondents who are the owner the gadung chips MSME in Kalidawir. The variables used in this research are the supply chain institutional (4 indicators), the MSME working performance (3 indicators), and the competitiveness of the MSME (3 indicators). According to the research, it can be shown that value of AFIT equal to 0.439. Institutional supply chain has positive and significant impact to the performance of MSMEs. Commitment is an indicator that gives a big impact to the supply ix chain institutional. Institutional supply chain has positive and significant impact on business competitiveness. The existence of high competitiveness resulting because of skilled human resources. The performance of SMEs and business competitiveness has positive and does not significant impact. The increase of competitiveness is not based on the improvement and decrease of performance, but on the occasion of mutual sharing between entrepreneurs. Based on the results of the study also known that business performance has positive and significant impact in mediating the relationship between institutional supply chain to business competitiveness.
