Abstract

Ada masalah yang perlu dikaji dalam efektivitas layanan perpustakaan kelilingsebagai berikut (1) Bagaimana efektivitas pelayanan perpustakaan keliling di UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno Kota Blitar, (2) Apakah faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam pelayananperpustakaan keliling di UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno Kota Blitar. Metode penelitian ini aturan atau tata cara sistematik yang digunakan peneliti dalam pengumpulan data yang diperlukan dalam proses identifikasi dan penjelasan fenomena sosial yang sedang diamati atau diteliti untuk mencapai tujuan yang ingin dicapai untuk mendapatkan keakuratan data yang diperoleh. Secara dikotomis, dalam ilmu sosial dikenal dua jenis metode penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Dalam kegiatan pengumpulan data dibutuhkan suatu teknik tertentu yang disebut teknik pengumpulan data terdiri atas: (1) pengambilan sampel (sampling), (2) observasi (observation), (3) wawancara (interviews), dan (4) dokumen: kuesioner, catatan, jurnal, makalah, dan lainnya (documents:questionnaires, diaries, journals, papers, and more). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan penyajian data yang telah dilakukan diperoleh beberapa kesimpulan bahwa : (1) Efektivitas pelayanan diperpustakaan keliling masih rendah.Layanan yang diberikan oleh perpustakaan keliling belum masksimal. Dalam menerima layanan, yang dimaksudkan penerima layanan disini adalah masyarakat. Pelayanan perpustakaan keliling ini dapat dinikmati semua masyarakat. Tapimasihbelumdapatdikatakanefektif. Pada kenyataannya masyarakat Kota Blitar belum bisa menikmati layanan ini, hanya beberapa wilayah saja yang bisa menikmati layanan perpustakaan keliling dan (2) Masyarakat merasa belum puas denganpelayanan yang diberikanolehperpustakaankeliling Bung Karnokarena masih ada beberapa faktor yang dinilai masyarakat masih kurang yaitu lemahnya sistem, mekanisme dan prosedur perpustakaan keliling, produk pelayanan, sarana, prasarana dan fasilitas dan pengawasan keselamatan pelayanan serta faktor lain kurangnya bahan buku diantaranya buku cerita, buku pengetahuan, buku ensiklopedia, bukufiksi, buku agama, karya umum, novel dan masih kurangnya fasilitas yang membuat pembaca kurang nyaman diantaranya tidak disediakan tempat duduk untuk membaca.

English Abstract

There are problems that need to be assessed in the effectiveness of the bookmobile service as follows: (1) How effective service bookmobile in UPT Library of Bung Karno Kota Blitar, (2) What are the factors inhibiting and supporting in service bookmobile in UPT Library of Bung Karno Kota Blitar. This research method rules or procedures for systematic researchers used in collecting the necessary data in the identification and explanation of social phenomenon that is being observed or studied to achieve the objectives to be achieved to obtain the accuracy of the data obtained. In dichotomous, in the social sciences are two types of research methods are quantitative and qualitative. In the data collection activities required a certain technique called data collection techniques consisting of: (1) sampling (sampling), (2) observation (observation), (3) interviews (interviews), and (4) documents: questionnaires, records, journals, papers, and other (documents: questionnaires, diaries, journals, papers, and more). Based on the analysis and presentation of data that has been done by a few conclusions that (1) Effective circumference of the library services is still low. The services provided by the mobile library has notmaximal. In receiving the service, which is intended recipient of the service here is the community.Service mobile library this can be enjoyed all the community.But still cannot said effective. In fact the people of Blitar has not been able to enjoy this service, only a few regions are able to enjoy the bookmobile service, and (2) The public was not satisfied with the services provided by libraries around the Bung Karno because there are still some factors that assessed the public still lacks is weak systems, mechanisms and procedures bookmobile, product services, facilities, infrastructure and facilities and safety supervision services as well as other factors the lack of material books including books, knowledge books, encyclopedias, fiction books, religious books, public works, novels and is still a lack of facilities which makes the reader uncomfortable including no reserved seating for reading.
