Abstract
Memaksimalkan nilai perusahaan merupakan tujuan dari setiap pendirian suatu perusahaan. Tingginya nilai perusahaan tidak akan terwujud apabila perusahaan hanya berfokus pada pemaksimalan laba, tetapi juga harus memperhatikan kepentingan internal maupun eksternal perusahaan. Penerapan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) dan pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) merupakan faktor penting yang mampu meningkatkan nilai perusahaan dengan memperhatikan keseimbangan antara kepentingan internal maupun eksternal perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh GCG terhadap nilai perusahaan, (2) mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh GCG terhadap pengungkapan CSR, (3) mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh pengungkapan CSR terhadap nilai perusahaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah GCG, pengungkapan CSR, dan nilai perusahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2014-2017 sebanyak 40 perusahaan. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 13 perusahaan yang di ambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Good Corporate Governance (GCG) berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap nilai perusahaan, (2) Good Corporate Governance (GCG) berpengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhadap pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), (3) Pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
English Abstract
Maximizing company value is the goal of every establishment of a company. The high value of a company will not reached if they only focused on maximazing profit, but also consider the internal and external interests of the company. GCG and CSR disclosure are important factors that can increase the value of the company and considering balance the internal and external interest of the company. The purpose of this research is to (1) find out and explain the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on firm value, (2) find out and explain the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure, (3) find out and explain the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure on firm value. The type of this research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The variable of this research is GCG, CSR disclosure, and firm value. The research’s object is all of the mining companies registered at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2017, there are 40 companies. The sample of this research are 13 companies that were taken using purposive sampling method. Data analysis technique using Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of the research showed that (1) GCG has significant and positive effect on firm value, (2) GCG has significant and negative effect on CSR disclosure, (3) CSR disclosure has not significant effect on firm value.
