Abstract
Perkembangan startup di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan internet dan progm akselerator. Internet menyebabkan perpindahan arus informasi yang begitu cepat sehingga menciptakan kemudahan produktivitas disegala bidang. Semakin tingginya penggunaan internet menyebabkan peningkatan industry digital di Indonesia sehingga banyak sekali startup di Indonesia. Selain penggunaan internet, program akselerator yang diberikan oleh akselerator dan incubator dari pemerintah maupun non pemerintah menyebabkan terciptanya kondisi lingkungan startup yang baik. Banyaknya akselerator di Indonesia membuat peningkatan jumlah startup di Indonesia hingga mendapat peringkat ke-3 dunia dengan Jumlah Startup terbanyak. Brawijaya Startup Action dan BEKUP adalah akselerator yang berada di Kota Malang yang aktif tiap tahun mengadakan program akselerator bagi startup entrepreneur. Keberhasilan dari program akselerator dapat dilihat dan diamati dari arketipe program yang digunakan dan karakteristik organisasi yang membatu startup. Karakteristik yang harus terpenuhi dalam program akselerator menurut Dempwolf (2014), ada 4 yaitu program structure, operational feature, funding capital & ip right dan social capital & networking. Dari ke-4 karakteristik tersebut lalu dapat dilihat model arketipe program yang digunakan. Ada 3 arketipe program dalam akselerator menurut Clarysse (2015), antara lain arketipe lead-investor, matchmaker accelerator dan ekosistem accelerator. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa BEKUP & BSA telah memnuhi karakteristik program akselerator diantaranya : Program Structure, Operational Features, Financial Capital & IP Rights, Social Capital & Networking. Dari hasil karakteristik yang terpenuhi, kita bisa melihat bahwa BEKUP dan BSA memiliki arketipe program akselerator yang berbeda. Dimana BEKUP termasuk ekosistem accelerator, dimana dari program akselerator yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menciptakan ekosistem startup entrepreneur di Indonesia khususnya di Kota Malang. Sedangkan BSA sendiri termasuk arketip matchmaker accelerator, dimana dari program akselerator yang diberikan sebagian besar akan diberdaakan kembali oleh Badan Usaha, yaitu Badan Usaha Akademik milik Universitas Brawijaya. Selanjutnya adalah dampak yang diterima oleh startup entrepreneur setelah mengikuti program akselerator yaitu : menambah edukasi terkait startup, memiliki wadah atau tempat untuk berinovasi terkait startup, peningkatan kuantitas startup baru dan terakhir adalah terciptnya peluang usah baru.
English Abstract
Startup development in Indonesia affected by the use of the Internet and program accelerator. Internet led to the displacement flow of information so quickly that it creates ease of productivity in all fields. The increasing use of the Internet led to an increase in the digital industry in Indonesia so that many startups in Indonesia. In addition to the use of the internet, accelerator programs provided by the accelerator and incubator of government and non-government led to the creation of startup good environmental conditions. The amount of accelerator in Indonesia made an increasing number of startups in Indonesia to get ranked 3rd world with the highest amount of Startup.The success of the program can be seen and observed accelerator of archetypes program and organizational characteristics used support startup. Characteristics which must be met in the accelerator program according Dempwolff (2014), No 4, namely the program structure, operational features, capital funding and ip rights and social capital and networking. From all four of these characteristics and can be a model program used archetypes. There are three archetypes in an accelerator program according to Clarysse (2015), among other investor-lead archetypes, The matchmaker accelerator and The ecosystems accelerator. The results of this study indicate that BEKUP and BSA have fulfilled the accelerator program characteristics include: Program Structure, Operational Features, Financial Capital & IP Rights, Social Capital & Networking, from the results of the characteristics are met, we can see that BEKUP and BSA have different archetypes accelerator program. Where BEKUP including the ecosystem accelerator, which of the accelerator program undertaken aimed at creating a startup entrepreneur ecosystem in Indonesia, especially in Malang. While the BSA itself including the matchmaker accelerator, which of a given accelerator program will largely be developed by enterprises, i.e. enterprises belonging to UB's Academic. Next is the impact received by the entrepreneur after the program startup accelerator, namely: to increase the education-related startup, has a container or a place for innovationrelated startup, increase the quantity of new and recent startup is terciptnya need new opportunities.
