Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh Efek Media Massa My Trip My Adventure Episode BJBR Probolinggo terhadap variabel Motivasi Wisatawan ke BJBR Probolinggo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Penjelasan, dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pendekatan Kuantitatif. Peneliti menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana sebagai teknik analisis data. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Probolinggo, dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 97 responden yang dipilih dengan menetapkan kriteria tertentu. Sehingga teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan positif antara Efek Media Massa My Trip My Adventure Episode BJBR Probolinggo terhadap Motivasi Wisatawan ke BJBR Probolinggo. Hasil R Square diketahui bahwa pengaruh Efek Media Massa My Trip My Adventure Episode BJBR Probolinggo terhadap Motivasi Wisatawan ke BJBR Probolinggo dapat dijelaskan sebesar 13,50%. Sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak disertakan dalam model penelitian ini.

English Abstract

This study is aimed to determine effects of the Mass Media ‘My Trip My Adventure’ Episode BJBR Probolinggo towards the Tourists Motivation to visit BJRR Probolinggo. This research applies Explanatory Research by using Quantitative Approach. The methods of analysis used by researcher was a simple linear regression analysis. This research was conducted in Probolinggo City, and the samples used in this study were 97 respondents, chosen by setting certain criterias. So the sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The result of this study indicated that there was a positive significant relationship between the Mass Media Effect ‘My Trip My Adventure’ Episode BJBR Probolinggo and the Tourist Motivation to BJBR Probolinggo. From the result of R Square, it is known that the effects of the Mass Media Effect ‘My Trip My Adventure’ Episode BJBR Probolinggo towards the Tourist Motivation to BJBR Probolinggo can be explained by 13,50%. And the other 86,50% can be explained by other variables which are not included in this research model
