Abstract
Penyulingan daun jeruk purut dengan kadar air 15±2% menggunakan metode penyulingan uap dilakukan selama 4 jam, 6 jam dan 8 jam. Rendemen minyak daun jeruk purut yang dihasillkan pada lama penyulingan 4 jam, 6 jam dan 8 jam berturut-turut sebesar 0,98%, 1,27% dan 1,33% dengan nilai massa jenis rata-rata sebesar 0,869 gram/ml. Lama penyulingan berpengaruh terhadap komposisi minyak daun jeruk purut yang dihasilkan. Jumlah senyawa yang teridentifikasi pada lama penyulingan 4 jam (12 senyawa), 6 jam (17 senyawa) dan 8 jam (15 senyawa). Lama penyulingan 6 jam merupakan waktu yang optimal dengan rendemen 1,27%, jumlah senyawa teridentifikasi 17 senyawa dengan kadar linalool (2,62%), sitronelol (3,01%), β-sitronelil asetat (3,09%) dan sitronelal (85,83%).
English Abstract
Distillation of lime leaves with moisture content of 15±2% was done using steam distillation method for 4 hour, 6 hour and 8 hour. The yield of leaf lime oil at distillation time of 4 hour, 6 hour and 8 hour respectively by 0.98%, 1.27% and 1.33% with leaf lime oil density of 0.869 gram/ml. The distillation time influence on the composition of leaf lime oil produced. The number of compounds identified at 4 hour (12 compounds), 6 hour (17 compounds) and 8 hour (15 compounds). The 6-hour distillation time was the optimum time that resulting yield 1.27%, number of compound indentified is 17 compound with linalool (2.62%), citronellol (3.01%), β-citronellyl acetate (3.09%) and citronellal (85.83%).
