Aprilianti, Wiragia Siin (2018) Laju pertumbuhan Ikan Bandeng (Chanos chanos) Dengan Penambahan Kepadatan Rumput Laut (Gracilaria sp.) Yang Berbeda Sebagai Fitoremediasi. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

Rerata laju pertumbuhan spesifik ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos) perlakuan A sebesar 4,41%/BB/Hari, perlakuan B sebesar 3,25%/BB/Hari dan perlakuan C sebesar 4,04%/BB/Hari. Rerata pertumbuhan bobot mutlak ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos) perlakuan A sebesar 2,09 gram, perlakuan B sebesar 1,36 gram dan perlakuan C 1,88 gram.

English Abstract

Phytoremediation is one method that uses plants to remove, remove, stabilize or destroy contaminants in the form of organic or inorganic compounds. Milkfish (Chanos chanos) have a problem on cultivation techniques that are still relatively simple and traditional, this results in less optimal production and water quality. One of the plants selected as phytoremediation agent is seaweed (Gracilaria sp.). The research method used was experimental method with 4 treatments that are K (60 fish/15L milkfish without seaweed), A (60 fish/15L with 500 grams seaweed), B (60 fish/15L with 550 grams), C (60 fish/15 with 600 grams of seaweed) with 3 replications. The result survival rate of milkfish (Chanos chanos) at the average of treatments were A equal to 80.56%, treatment B equal to 73.78% and treatment C equal to 68.89%. The average of specific growth rate of milkfish (Chanos chanos) were treatment A was 4.41%/BB/day, treatment B was 3.25%/BB/day and treatment C was 4.04%/BB/day. The average of growth rate on milkfish (Chanos chanos) treatment were A was 2.09 gram, treatment B was 1,36 gram and treatment C was 1.88 gram. The results of the water quality range during the study obtained were Ammonia 0.036-0.268 mg/l, Nitrate 0.036-0.097 mg/l, Orthophosphate 0.011-0.666 mg/l, Temperature 27.76-31.08°C, DO 4.72-6.01 mg/l, Salinity 16.56-17.11 ppt. The conclusion of this research is the best treatment that is in treatment A covering survival rate of milk fish (Chanos chanos) 80.56%, specific growth rate 4.41%/BB/day, and growth rate 2.09 gram. It suggested to use seaweed (Gracilaria sp.) 500 grams/60 fish for phytoremediation.
