Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan piutang serta penyebab tidak tercapainya target pelunasan piutang pasien rawat inap jaminan asuransi dan perusahaan pada Rumah Sakit Gatoel Kota Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan dilakukan pengkajian terhadap kebijakan dan sistem yang berjalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa target tidak tercapai disebabkan oleh keterbatasan sumber daya manusia serta kurangnya sosialisasi terhadap perjanjian kerjasama, kebijakan dan SPO. Selain itu, penyebab lainnya adalah upaya penagihan dan penerapan isi perjanjian kerjasama yang tidak maksimal, serta SIMRS belum optimal. Pada akhir penelitian ini disarankan Rumah Sakit Gatoel untuk melakukan evaluasi sumber daya manusia, melakukan sosialisasi, mengadakan diklat dan pelatihan karyawan terkait dengan manajemen keuangan rumah sakit. Juga pembuatan uraian tugas masing-masing divisi, serta mencantumkan penerapan mekanisme diskon dan sanksi pada perjanjian kerjasama dengan pihak asuransi dan perusahaan.
English Abstract
This study aims to analyze the management of debts as well as the cause of unachieved target of debt repayment of inpatient covered by inpatient and corporate insurance at Gatoel Hospital, Mojokerto City. This study used qualitative research with a descriptive approach to carry out an assessment of the policies and systems that are in place. The results showed that the target was not achieved due to limited human resources and lack of information about cooperation agreements, policies and SPO. In addition, another cause is collection efforts and implementation of a cooperation agreement that were not maximized, as well as SIMRS that not optimal. In conclusion, the recommendations is for Gatoel Hospital to evaluate human resources, inform employees, and conduct employee education and training related to hospital financial management. This is in addition to making a description of the duties of each division, as well as noting the application of the discount mechanism and sanctions on cooperation agreements with insurance agents and companies.
