Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif, kontrol perilaku persepsian, sifat Machiavellian, dan prestasi akademik terhadap niat mahasiswa melakukan tindakan whistleblowing pada mahasiswa akuntansi Universitas Brawijaya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode survei dengan kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sikap, norma subjektif, kontrol perilaku persepsian, dan sifat Machiavellian berpengaruh positif terhadap niat mahasiswa melakukan tindakan whistleblowing. Sebaliknya, pretasi akademik tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat mahasiswa melakukan tindakan whistleblowing.
English Abstract
This research aims at proving empirically the effect of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, Machiavellian characteristic, and academic performance on the intention of commit whistleblowing. The object of the study is accounting student at the University of Brawijaya. The data were collected through the survey method with questionnaires given to 60 respondents who were determined by the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The result of the analysis showed that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and Machiavellian characteristic influence the intent to commit whistleblowing. Meanwhile, academic performance does not affect the intent
