Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan parenting belief ibu berusia remaja yang memiliki pengalaman kehamilan di luar nikah ketika mengasuh anak pertama mereka. Adapun parenting belief disini dimaknakan sebagai wawasan pengasuhan anak beserta keyakinan yang dimiliki oleh seorang ibu, dimana parenting belief tersebut layaknya kunci dari setiap praktik pengasuhan yang dilakukan oleh ibu kepada anak mereka. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data Moustakas dan dua orang informan. Hasil penelitian ini ialah para ibu tersebut telah memiliki konsep bagaimana seorang anak harus diasuh meskipun mereka berada di usia yang tergolong remaja dan memiliki pengalaman kehamilan di luar nikah. Konsep tersebut nampak pada empat hal, pertama tanggung jawab mereka sebagai seorang ibu, kedua gagasan yang mereka miliki dalam setiap praktik pengasuhan¸ketiga sikap yang mereka tampilkan dalam mengasuh anak, dan keempat keyakinan mereka sebagai seorang ibu. Disamping adanya konsep tersebut, mereka pun juga belum sepenuhnya melepas sisi sebagai seorang remaja meski telah berperan sebagai seorang ibu
English Abstract
The aim of this study was to reveal a parenting belief on adolescent mothers who had married by accident experience when she was nurturing their first child. Definition of parenting belief on this study is what the mother’s insight was about her nurture and what she believed on being a mother, where the parenting belief was the key to any parenting practices that mothers showed to their child. The method of this study was qualitative phenomenology and every data was analyzed by Moustakas technique and had two adolescent mothers as an informant. The result of this study was adolescent mothers had a concept on how to nurture their child although they were teenanger and had an experience of having married by accident. The concept appears in, first what is their responsibility as a mother. Second, what is their main idea about parenting, third, what is their attitude that they always showed to their child and fourth what they believe as a mother. Besides they had a concept how to nurture a child as a mother, does not mean they could take off their teenager’s side fully.
