Abstract
Ikatan Pencak Silat Indonesia (IPSI) Tuban sebagai induk organisasi pencak silat di Kabupaten Tuban berfungsi untuk mewadahi, menaungi dan memobilisasi setiap perguruan pencak silat agar dapat berprestasi bersama. Akan tetapi, pada kenyataannya IPSI Tuban ketika melaksanakan kompetisi pencak silat dapat didominasi dengan kepentingan salah satu pihak perguruan. Hal tersebut menyebabkan timbulnya kegelisahan pada perguruan pencak silat lain yang juga tergabung didalam IPSI Tuban. Berawal dari peristiwa tersebut muncul kelompok perguruan pencak silat yang menentang pihak dominasi. Sehingga potensi konflik tidak dapat dihindarkan dalam IPSI Tuban. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konflik dari Ralf Dahrendorf untuk melihat konflik yang terjadi antar perguruan didalam IPSI Tuban. Konflik laten yang terjadi dalam sebuah organisasi relevan dengan teori dari Ralf Dahrendorf karena ia membahas konflik dari yang bersifat kepentingan sampai pada konflik manifest dalam sebuah masyarakat modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan peneliti melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggukan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kemudian pada keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pertentangan kelompok yang disebabkan ketidakadilan PSHT dalam mendominasi perguruan pencak silat lain mengakibatkan terjadinya seleksi pada kompeitsi pencak silat di IPSI Tuban. Terjadinya kompetisi pencak silat yang bersifat seleksi di IPSI Tuban dilaksanakan dengan ketua panitia yang berasal dari pihak luar perguruan pencak silat agar tidak terdapat keberpihakan dalam pelaksanaan kompetisinya. Dominasi PSHT yang semula dari tidak melalui seleksi tetapi dapat menjadi wakil IPSI Tuban dalam kompetisi pencak silat tingkat Provinsi Jawa Timur, berubah dengan dominasi pada wasit juri yang menjadi bagian penting pada pelaksanaan kompetisi pencak silat di IPSI Tuban.
English Abstract
IPSI Tuban as the parent organization of martial arts in Tuban Regency serves to accommodate, shade and mobilize every pencak silat college in order to achieve together. However, in reality the IPSI Tuban when carrying out the martial arts competition can be dominated by the interests of one of the university's parties. This has caused anxiety in other pencak silat colleges that are also incorporated in the IPSI Tuban. Starting from the incident, a group of martial arts colleges emerged which opposed the domination party. So that the potential for conflict cannot be avoided in Tuban IPSI This study uses conflict theory from Ralf Dahrendorf to see the conflicts that occur between colleges in IPSI Tuban. Latent conflicts that occur in an organization are relevant to the theory of Ralf Dahrendorf because he discusses conflicts from the interests to manifest conflicts in a modern society. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collected by researchers through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use condensation data, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Then on the validity of the data using source triangulation The results of this study show that the group conflict caused by the injustice of PSHT in dominating other pencak silat colleges resulted in the selection of pencak silat compeitution in Tuban IPSI. The selection of the pencak silat competition on the Tuban IPSI was carried out with the committee chairman from outside the martial arts college so that there was no partiality in the implementation of the competition. The dominance of the PSHT that was originally not through selection but could become the representative of IPSI Tuban in the pencak silat competition at the East Java Province, changed with the dominance of the jury referee which became an important part of the implementation of the martial arts competition on IPSI Tuban.
