Abstract
Isu Comfort Women merupakan isu yang terjadi di masa Perang Dunia II, yang telah melewati beberapa dekade setelah berakhirnya Perang Dunia II masih menyisakan kontroversi, terlebih pada kedua negara utama yaitu Jepang sebagai negara mendirikan Comfort Station dan Korea Selatan yang telah mendapatkan ketidakadilan melalui adanya sistem Comfort Women ini kala itu. Kedua negara memang memiliki sejarah yang memilukan, yang mana dengan adanya keterbatasan pada permasalahan sejarah ini akan membawa dampak pada hubungan diplomatis kedua negara ini. Dengan itu, setelah beberapa kali menolak untuk menyelesaikan permasalah ini, pada tahun 2015 Jepang berhasil menyelesaikan isu Comfort Women dengan Korea Selatan. Penelitian ini akan membahas proses pengambilam kebijakan Jepang dalam menyelesaikan isu Comfort Women, yang mana sebelumnya Jepang enggan menyelesaikan isu Comfort Women ini
English Abstract
The issue of Comfort Women is an issue that occurred during World War II, which has passed several decades after the end of World War II and still leaves controversy, especially in the two main countries, Japan as State that released Comfort Station during World War II and South Korea that has experienced injustice through the Comfort Women system. Both states have a heartbreaking history, which with the limitations of these historical problems will have an impact on the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Therefore, after refusing to resolve this issue several times, in 2015 Japan succeeded in resolving the Comfort Women issue with South Korea. This study will discuss Japan's policy-making process in resolving the issue of Comfort Women, which previously Japan was reluctant to resolve the Comfort Women issue.
