Abstract
Perkembangan studi mengenai komunikasi krisis berfokus pada komunikasi krisis dari sudut pandang PR dan media di ranah pemerintahan dan perusahaan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi komunikasi krisis dari sudut pandang komunikasi organisasi di organisasi pendidikan formal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi krisis pada penerapan kurikulum 2013 di sekolah menengah kejuruan swasta di Malang. Penelitian ini berfokus pada identifikasi pihak pembuat strategi komunikasi krisis, definisi krisis, dan tahapan-tahapan strategi komunikasi krisis. Melalui desain penelitian kualitatif dengan paradigma interpretatif dan metode studi kasus peneliti melibatkan 7 informan utama dan seorang informan ahli. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pihak yang berkepentingan dalam membuat strategi komunikasi krrisis di sekolah adalah kepala sekolah, staff kepemimpinan (waka kurikulum), dan guru. Selain itu ditemukan juga hasil yang menunjukkan krisis ini menjadi suatu peluang bagi kedua sekolah untuk berkreasi. Pada tahap-tahap strategi komunikasi krisis yang dilakukan di SMKS Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi berfokus pada pencarian informasi kepada pihak yang dianggap penting, kemudian melakukan penyebaran informasi, dan melakukan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak luar untuk menutupi kekurangannya. Berbeda halnya dengan SMKS Putra Indonesia yang mencari informasi pada organisasi-organisasi tempat mereka terlibat, peneybaran informasi, pembangunan komunikasi tim, serta penyebaran informasi ke pada pihak luar.
English Abstract
Late development studies of crisis communication was focused on crisis communication from the perspective of PR and the media. Based on this research, researchers choose research in educational organizations about communication strategies in communication organization perspective. The purpose of this research is to know the crisis communication strategies of the implementation Kurikulum 2013 in private vocational high school in Malang. This study focuses on identifying the makers of the crisis communication strategies, the definition of crisis, and the stages of crisis communication strategies in the application of K'13.Through this qualitative research design with interpretative paradigm and case studies methode, researcher involves 7 key informants and a expert informan. In this study found that stakeholders in making communication strategies are principals, leadership staff, and teachers. Besides, there are also the results that show this crisis becomes opportunities for both schools to be more creative. And the last stage of crisis communication strategy which is undertaken at SMKS Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi focuses on the information searching to some one competent, then do the dissemination of informations, and cooperate with various external organizations or industries to cover the shortcomings. Unlike the case with SMKS Putra Indonesia that seek information on the external organizations where they are involved, dissemination of information, development of team communication, and the dissemination of information on industries.
