Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan memprediksi pengaruh motivasi karir, motivasi belajar, motivasi ekonomi, dan motivasi gelar terhadap minat mahasiswa akuntansi mengikuti ujian ACPAI. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif jurusan akuntansi angkatan 2014 Universitas Brawijaya. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian mahasiswa akuntansi Universitas Brawijaya angkatan 2014 sebanyak 83 mahasiswa. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yaitu kuisioner yang disebarkan melalui media sosial Line dalam grup diskusi mahasiswa akuntansi angkatan 2014. Metode analisis data menggunakan pendekatan partial least square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan motivasi gelar berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa akuntansi mengikuti ujian ACPAI. Motivasi karir dan motivasi ekonomi tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa akuntansi mengikuti ujian ACPAI.
English Abstract
The research aims to explain and predict the influence of career motivation, learning motivation, economic motivation, and degree motivation on the interests of accounting students taking the ACPAI exam. The population in this study is active students of 2014 batch in the Accounting Department of Brawijaya University. The sample taken from part of the 2014 Brawijaya University Accounting students numbered to 83 students. The utilized sampling technique was convenience sampling. This study used primary data, namely questionnaries distributed through line social media in the 2014 accounting student’s discussion group. The utilized data analysis method was partial least square (PLS). The result of this study indicated that learning motivation and degree motivation have positive effect on the interest of accounting student taking the ACPAI exam. Career motivation and economic motivation do not effect of accounting students regarding the ACPAI exam.
