Abstract
Belajar adalah sebuah proses kehidupan yang akan terus berlangsung dalam kehidupan manusia. Proses pembelajaran dapat terjadi dimana saja, salah satunya di sekolah. Melalui pembelajaran di sekolah, seseorang diharapkan dapat mencapai pemahaman dan keberhasilan dalam bentuk prestasi belajar. Untuk mendapatkan hasil pembelajaran atau prestasi belajar yang maksimal, seseorang dituntut untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan lingkungan belajarnya. Adaptasi yang dimaksud adalah dalam bentuk penyesuaian sosial. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui peran penyesuaian sosial terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMA Islam ‘X’ di Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yang kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 117 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan metode Nonprobability Sampling dengan sampel jenuh. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui skala penyesuaian sosial berupa kuesioner dan nilai rata-rata pada rapor semester ganjil. Hasil uji hipotesis menghasilkan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,243 (>0,05) maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak atau tidak terbukti. Dengan demikian, tidak terdapat peran penyesuaian sosial terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMA Islam ‘X’ di Depok
English Abstract
Study is a process that will continue in human life. The process can happen anywhere, such as school. Through studying in school, one is expected to achieve understanding and success in the form of student achievement. To get the results of studying or maximum achievement, a person is required to be able to adapt to the studying environment. The adaptation is in the form of social adjustment. The purpose of this research is to know the role of social adjustment to student achievement of SMA Islam 'X' students in Depok. This research uses correlational quantitative approach. The sample was 117 students selected using Nonprobability Sampling method with saturated samples. The research data is obtained through social adjustment scale in the form of questionnaire and average score on odd semester report card. Result of hypothesis test yield Sig value. of 0.243 (> 0.05) then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is rejected or not proven. The results show that there is no social adjustment role on student achievement
