Abstract
Kawasan B 29 termasuk dalam Kawasan Zona Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru (TNBTS) dan dikembangkan menjadi kawasan wisata dengan pemandangan Gunung Bromo, Gunung Semeru dan perkebunan sayur mayur. Penggunaan ruang yang tidak merata pada Kawasan B 29 dipicu oleh penggunaan kios – kios semi permanen yang mempersempit ruang gerak pengunjung dan mengurangi kualitas visual pada kawasan, area parkir yang kurang optimal dalam pemanfaatannya memicu aktivitas berkendara di area yang tidak untuk para pengendara namun untuk pejalan kaki. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan pola pemanfaatan ruang terbuka pada Kawasan B 29. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan pendekatan behavioral mapping yang digambarkan dalam bentuk sketsa mengenai semua aktivitas yang ada pada suatu area. Hasil penelitian didapatkan pola pemanfaatan ruang pada Kawasan B 29 terbentuk di blok – blok area studi yang terdiri dari Rest Area I, Rest Area II, dan Area Puncak yang secara keseluruhan membentuk pola linear, aktivitas berpindah tempat seperti berjalan dan berkendara membentuk pola chain yang merantai ke masing – masing sub area dan beberapa aktivitas lainnya membentuk pola scatter yang tersebar di beberapa titik tempat dengan Rest Area I menjadi area utama yang paling maksimal dalam pemanfaatan ruangnya.
English Abstract
The tourist area of B 29 included in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) and developed into a tourist area with views of Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru and vegetable plantations. Uneven use of space in Area B29 is triggered by the use of semi-residential kiosks that narrow the visitor's space and reduce the visual quality of the area, the less-than-optimal parking areas in its utilization trigger driving activities in areas that should not be for driver. The purpose of this study is to formulate the pattern of open space utilization in Area B29. The research method used in this research is qualitative, with the approach of the behavioral mapping is illustrated in the form of a sketch about all the activity in an area. The result of the research shows that spatial use pattern in Area B 29 is formed in blocks of study area consisting of Rest Area I, Rest Area II, and Peak Area which as a whole formed a linear pattern, moving activity such as walking and driving formed a chain patern chained into each sub-area and some other activities form scatter patterns scattered at several points where Rest Area I becomes the maximum area in the utilization of space.
