Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji serta menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis lebih spesifik mengenai seberapa besar pengaruh pengaruh profitabilitas dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan baik dari pengaruh secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan tiga titik permasalahan yang ada diantaranya yaitu Apakah profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan? Apakah tingkat pertumbuhan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan? Apakah profitabilitas dan tingkat pertumbuhan berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap nilai perusahaan? Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas dan pertumbuhan perusahaan memiliki pengaruh baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Jika ditinjau bahwa pada tahun 2008 telah terjadinya krisis ekonomi di Amerika Serikat yang berimbas pada perekonomian negara berkembang dan hal ini juga mampu memberikan dampak baik untuk kelangsungan hidup suatu perusahaan dalam jangka panjang dengan meningkatkan profitabilitas perusahaan yang mana hal tersebut dilakukan dengan cara membuat suatu inovasi dan terus melakukan evaluasi strategi agar terciptanya provitabilitas yang baik yang akan berdampak juga terhadap nilai perusahaan yang baik. Sehingga, dengan adanya profitabilitas perusahaan yang baik dengan melakukan evaluasi strategi dan inovasi serta pengontrolan kinerja secara berkesinambungan, maka juga akan berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan perusahaan yang akan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan yang baik.

English Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the effect of profitability and firm growth on firm value. This study also aims to find out more information about the profitability and growth of the company on corporate values both from the agency and simultaneously. In this study, the researchers found three keys that exist is whether the profitability of the company? Has the growth rate reached company value? What is the profitability and growth rate simultaneously to the value of the company? The type of research used in this research is explanatory research with multiple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that profitability and growth of the company have influence either partially or simultaneously to company value. Thus, by using good corporate profitability by implementing strategies and innovation and effective performance control, it will also have an impact on company growth that will reflect on good corporate value.
