Abstract
Penggunaan aplikasi berbasis website pada institusi pendidikan guna mendukung kegiatan akademik saat ini semakin banyak, salah satunya adalah adanya sistem informasi berbasis website yang diterapkan oleh Tour and Travel PenidaTrip Malang yang bernama Website penidatrip.com. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui permasalahan usability yang ditemui oleh konsumen ketika mengakses website penidatrip.com Tour. Memberikan usulan terkait masalah yang dihadapi konsumen ketika mengakses website penidatrip.com Tour. Metode yang digunakan adalah evaluasi usability untuk membantu proses penelitian dan untuk memperkaya pustaka pada penelitian yang sedang dilakukan. Tahap pertama adalah melakukan studi literatur, yaitu mempelajari teori – teori tentang pengujian usability dan memperbaiki antarmuka setelah itu melakukan evaluasi awal terhadap objek yang akan diteliti yaitu website penidatrip.com Tour dan menentukan pengguna yang akan menjadi partisipan dan untuk menemukan permasalahan yang dihadapi pengguna ketika mengakses website penidatrip.com Tour , setelah menemukan permasalahannya kemudian melakukan perbaikan terhadap antarmuka website penidatrip.com Tour supaya bisa meningkatkan kemudahan akses, ketika perbaikan selesai lalu diujikan lagi pada tahap evaluasi lanjut untuk mengetahui apakah sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, apakah permasalahan yang ada sudah diselesaikan semua atau belum dituliskan di kesimpulan dan saran perbaikan untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan usability yang dialami user atau pengguna ketika mengakses website penidatrip.com adalah keseluruhan dari aspek satisfaction berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan pada responden, fitur-fitur yang ada pada website sudah memenuhi tujuan dari fitur tersebut. Namun ada beberapa fitur yang ditemukan oleh pengguna masih belum berfungsi dengan semestinya, misalkan fitur booking now. Rekomendasi perbaikan berupa mockup dan wireframe yang diharapkan bisa menjadi acuan untuk perbaikan website penidatrip.com di kemudian hari.
English Abstract
The use of website-based applications in educational institutions to support current academic activities is increasing, one of which is the existence of a websitebased information system that is implemented by PenidaTrip Malang Tour and Travel, named Website penidatrip.com. The purpose of this study was to determine the usability problems encountered by consumers when accessing the penidatrip.com Tour website. Provide suggestions regarding problems faced by consumers when accessing the website penidatrip.com Tour. The method used is usability evaluation to assist the research process and to enrich the literature in the research being carried out. The first stage is to study literature, which is to study theories about usability testing and improve the interface after that do an initial evaluation of the object to be studied, namely the penidatrip.com Tour website and determine the users who will become participants and to find the problems faced by users when accessing penidatrip.com Tour website, after finding the problem then make improvements to the interface of the penidatrip.com Tour website in order to increase ease of access, when the repair is complete and then tested again at the advanced evaluation stage to find out whether it is in accordance with user needs, whether the problem has been resolved all or not written in conclusions and suggestions for improvement for further research. The results showed that the usability problems experienced by the user or user when accessing the penidatrip.com website is the overall satisfaction aspect based on the interview conducted on the respondent, the features that exist on the website have fulfilled the purpose of the feature. But there are some features found by users that are still not functioning properly, for example the booking now feature. Recommendations for improvements in the form of mockups and wireframes are expected to be a reference for future improvements to the penidatrip.com website.
