Abstract
Minuman kopi merupakan minuman dengan bahan dasar ekstrak biji kopi dan dikonsumsi sekitar 2,25 milyar gelas setiap hari diseluruh dunia (Ponte, 2002). Konsumsi minuman kopi akan menyisakan ampas kopi yang biasanya dicampur dengan sampah rumah tangga (Tokimoto et al., 2005). Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya pemanfaatan limbah ampas kopi sebagai pupuk kompossehingga mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan.Hasil analisis dasar menunjukkan bahwa ampas kopi mempunyai pH 5,4 serta kandungan N (0,34%), P (0,079%), K (2,66%), C-organik (4,31%), Na (0,04%). Aplikasi kompos ampas kopi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan sifat kimia tanah Andisol Ngabab yang memiliki kandungan C- organik dan N dengan kriteria rendah, kandungan P dengan kriteria sangat rendah dan kandungan Na dengan kriteria sedang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi kompos ampas kopi Robusta terhadap perubahan sifat kimia tanah Andisol, (2) Menganalisis pengaruh peningkatan dosis aplikasi kompos ampas kopi Robusta terhadap sifat kimia tanah Andisol. Penelitian ini dilakukan di rumah kaca Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brwaijaya pada Agustus 2017 hingga April 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari perlakuan P0 (kontrol, tanpa kompos ampas kopi), P1 (dosis kompos ampas kopi 50% = 10 Mg Ha-1), P2 (dosis kompos ampas kopi 100% = 20 Mg Ha-1), P3 (dosis kompos ampas kopi 150% = 30 Mg Ha-1), dan P4 (dosis kompos ampas kopi 200% = 40 Mg Ha- 1).Parameter pengamatan meliputi pH, N-total, P-tersedia, K-dd, Na-dd, nisbah C:N, C-organik, dan KTK. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam atau Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) berdasarkan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi kompos ampas kopi terhadap pH, N-total, P-tersedia, K-dd, Na-dd, nisbah C:N, C-organik, dan KTK tanah Andisol dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) untuk mengetahui perbedaan antar perlakuan, serta dilanjutkan dengan uji korelasi dan regresi untuk mengetahui hubungan antar parameter. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi kompos ampas kopi dengan perlakuan dosis 150% atau 30 Mg Ha-1 (P3)dan dosis 200% atau 40 Mg Ha-1 (P4) pada tanah Andisol Ngabab berpengaruh nyata untuk meningkatkan pH, kandungan C-organik, N-total, P-tersedia, K-dd (di 2, 6 dan 8 MSI) dan Na-dd serta nilai KTK (di 4, 6 dan 8 MSI) tanah Andisol Ngabab di dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol atau tanpa kompos ampas kopi (P0).
English Abstract
Coffee drinks are drinks with basic ingredients of coffee bean extract and consumed about 2.25 billion glasses every day in worldwide (Ponte, 2002). Consumption of coffee drinks will leave the spent coffee ground and usually mixed with household waste (Tokimoto et al., 2005). Therefore, need to utilize spent coffee ground as compost so as to reduce environmental pollution. According basic analysis shows that spent coffee ground has a pH of 5.4 and content of N (0.34%), P (0.079%%), K (2.66%), C-organic (4.31%), Na (0.04%). Application of spent coffee ground’s compost is expected to improve soil chemical properties of Andisol Ngabab which has low criteria C-organic and N content, very low criteria P content and moderate criteria Na content. The purpose of this research are: (1) To analyze the effect of Robusta’s spent coffee ground’s compost application to change of soil chemical properties on Andisol, (2) To analyze the effect of dose increased of Robusta’s spent coffee ground’s compost application to chemical properties on Andisol. The research was done in the greenhouse of Agriculture Faculty, Brwaijaya University from August 2017 until April 2018. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment consisted of P0 (control, without apllied spent coffee ground’s compost), P1 (dose of 50% applied spent coffee ground’s compost= 10 Mg ha-1), P2 (dose of 100% applied spent coffee ground’s compost= 20 Mg ha-1), P3 (dose of 150% applied spent coffee ground’s compost= 30 Mg ha-1), and P4 (dose of 200% applied spent coffee ground’s compost= 40 Mg ha-1). Parameters observation included pH, N-total, P-available, K-exch, Naexch, C: N ratio, C-organic, and CEC. The results were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) based on Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method to know the effect of spent coffee ground’s compost application to pH, N-total, Pavailable, K-exch, Na-exch, C:N ratio, C-organic, and CEC Andisol. An then, followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) to know the differences between treatments, and continued with correlation and regression test to know the relationship between parameters. The results of this reseacrh shows that the application of spent coffee ground’s compost dose of 150%= 30 Mg ha-1 (P3) and dose of 200%= 40 Mg ha- 1(P4) on Andisol Ngabab can gave the significant effect to increase pH, Corganic, N-total, P-available, K-exch (in 2, 6 and 8 Week After Incubation), Naexch and CEC (in 4, 6 and Week After Incubation) on Andisol Ngabab compared to control treatment or without apllied spent coffee ground’s compost (P0).
