Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh Lingkungan Budaya, Dukungan Suami, Kemampuan Berwirausaha dan Peran Pemerintah terhadap Keberhasilan Usaha perempuan pedagang asli Papua. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket. Sampel sebanyak 272 orang Perempuan pedagang asli Papua yang di pilih secara random sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis adalah Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan budaya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan dan keberhasilan usaha perempuan pedagang asli Papua. Selanjutnya dukungan suami justru berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha, dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berwirausaha. Pengaruh negatif dukungan suami terjadi karena hasil usaha istri digunakan untuk keperluan konsumtif (rokok, pinang, dan minuman keras), yang bisa berakibat KDRT (Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga) bila permintaan suami tidak dipenuhi. Selain itu kemampuan berwirausaha sebagai mediasi lingkungan budaya berpengaruh nyata terhadap keberhasilan usaha perempuan pedagang asli Papua. Peran pemerintah secara langsung tidak mampu meningkatkan keberhasilan usaha dan juga tidak mampu berperan memperkuat hubungan moderasi antara lingkungan budaya dan dukungan suami terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Orisinalitas penelitian ini mampu membuktikan model terintegrasi hubungan antara lingkungan budaya terhadap keberhasilan usaha perempuan asli Papua yang dimediasi oleh kemampuan berwirausaha.
English Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine and explain the influence of culture, spouse`s or husband`s support, entrepreneurial ability and the role of government on the success of entrepreneurship done by Papua native female merchants. The research design used a survey method by collecting data through questionnaire. The number of samples taken was 272 Papua native female merchants chosen using randomized sampling method. The analysis method used to test hypothesis was Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Cultural environment significantly influence the ability and success of women traders indigenous entrepreneurship. Further support for the husband actually significant negative effect on entrepreneurial success, and do not significantly affect the increase in entrepreneurship skills. Negative effects occur because the husband support the wife operating results used for consumptive purposes (tobacco, areca nut, and liquor), which could result in domestic violence (Domestic Violence) if the husband demands were not met. Besides the ability to entrepreneurship as a mediating cultural environment significantly affect the success of women native entrepreneurs traders. Role of direct government is not to increase entrepreneurial success and also not able to act to strengthen the relationship between the environment and cultural moderation husband s support for entrepreneurial success. This study was able to prove originality integrated model of the relationship between the cultural environment of the indigenous women s business success is mediated by the ability of entrepreneurship.
