Abstract

diperantarai oleh imunoglobulin E, terjadi setelah paparan alergen spesifik. Penyakit ini sering berhubungan dengan banyak komorbid dan berdampak pada kualitas hidup. Rendahnya kadar vitamin D dan reseptor vitamin D diduga berperan terhadap peningkatan insiden penyakit alergi. Dalam proses alergi vitamin D berperan menghambat diferensiasi dan maturasi sel dendrit, juga meningkatkan apoptosis sel dendrit. Selain itu vitamin D juga menekan proliferasi sel T dan sel B sehingga degranulasi sel mast menjadi terhambat. Semua proses tersebut pada akhirnya akan menghambat aktivasi eosinofil, karena sitokin yang berperan pada eosinofil juga terhambat, hal ini menyebabkan keluhan berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar reseptor vitamin D terhadap derajat rinitis alergi. Penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional ini melibatkan 37 orang penderita rinitis alergi. Kadar reseptor vitamin D diperiksa dari lekosit darah tepi. Uji Oneway-Anova antara kadar reseptor vitamin D lekosit darah tepi dengan derajat rinitis alergi didapatkan p0.05. Uji korelasi Pearson kadar reseptor vitamin D terhadap derajat rinitis alergi didapatkan p0.05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini tidak didapatkan hubungan antara kadar reseptor vitamin D lekosit darah tepi terhadap derajat rinitis alergi. Secara umum didapatkan adanya kecenderungan semakin berat derajat rinitis alergi, maka kadar reseptor vitamin D semakin meningkat. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar vitamin D dengan reseptor vitamin D terhadap derajat rinitis alergi.

English Abstract

Allergic rhinitis is a symptomatic disorder of nose that is triggered by inflammation mediated by immunoglobulin E, which occurs after exposure to specific allergen. disease is often associated with many comorbidities and affects quality of life. Low level of vitamin D and vitamin D receptor were thought to contribute to increased incidence of allergic diseases. In allergic process, vitamin D may inhibit dendritic cell differentiation and maturation, also increased apoptosis of dendritic cells. Besides vitamin D also suppresses proliferation of T cells and B cells, so that mast cell degranulation is impeded. All se processes will eventually inhibit activation of eosinophils, as cytokines that act on eosinophils will also be inhibited, this led to complaints reduced. This study aims to determine relationship of vitamin D receptor level to degree of allergic rhinitis. This is an analytic observational study with cross-sectional design involving 37 people with allergic rhinitis. Level of vitamin D receptor who examined from peripheral blood leukocytes. result of Oneway - Anova test between vitamin D receptor level in peripheral blood leucocytes on allergic rhinitis degrees was p 0.05. result of Pearson correlation test of level of vitamin D receptor to degree of allergic rhinitis was p 0.05. conclusion of this study found no association between vitamin D receptor level of peripheral blood leucocytes to degree of allergic rhinitis. In general, re is a tendency towards increased vitamin D receptor level in higher degree of allergic rhinitis. Fur r research is needed to determine relationship of vitamin D with vitamin D receptor to degree of allergic rhinitis.
