Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja perawat IGD di RS Pekanbaru. Dua RS yang menjadi lokasi penelitian adalah RSUD Arifin Achmad dan RS Santa Maria. Penelitian ini berbasis pada teori motivasi Herzberg. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan pada Misener Nurse Practitioner Job Satisfaction Survey (MNPJSS) dan data demografi responden. MNPJSS membagi faktor penyebab kepuasan kerja menjadi faktor intrinsik dan faktor ekstrinsik. Jumlah responden yang terlibat sebanyak 43 orang, dengan tidak ada perbedaan karakteristik responden kecuali usia. Data yang didapatkan dianalsis dengan Analisis Faktor. Penilaian kepuasan kerja perawat IGD RSUD Arifin Achmad menunjukkan rentang Sedikit Tidak Puas – Sedikit Puas. Sementara perawat IGD RS Santa Maria menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan kerja pada rentang Puas – Sangat Puas. Dengan menggunakan Analisis Faktor, faktor tertinggi yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja di RSUD Arifin Achmad adalah Hubungan Intrapraktisi. Sementara itu, faktor tertinggi yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja di RS Santa Maria adalah Tantangan/otonomi. Kemudian, faktor terendah yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja di RSUD Arifin Achmad adalah Keuntungan, sedangkan Perkembangan Profesional merupakan faktor terendah yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja di RS Santa Maria.

English Abstract

This quantitative research was intended to investigate factors influencing job satisfaction among emergency department (ED) nurses in hospitals in Pekanbaru. Two hospitals that included in this research were RSUD Arifin Achmad and RS Santa Maria. Herzberg`s Theory of Motivation was the basis for this research. Then, Misener Nurse Practitioner Job Satisfaction Survey (MNPJSS) was used as the questionnaire instrument together with respondent`s demographic data. MNPJSS divided influencing factors to two domains: extrinsic and intrinsic. There were 43 nurses who asked to contribute in this research. There were no differences in respondent`s characteristics except in age. Data obtained were analyzed with factorial analysis. Emergency nurse practitioner`s job satisfaction in RSUD Arifin Achmad showed Minimally Dissatisfied – Minimally Satisfied. Meanwhile, emergency nurse practitioner`s job satisfaction in RS Santa Maria expressed Satisfied – Very Satisfied. By using factorial analysis, in RSUD Arifin Achmad, factor that has biggest contribution to job satisfaction was intrapractice partnership. At the same time, challenge/autonomy was the biggest contributor to job satisfaction in RS Santa Maria. Benefits was the least contributor to job satisfaction in RSUD Arifin Achmad, meanwhile professional growth was the weakest contributor to job satisfaction in RS Santa Maria.
