Abstract
llmu pengetahuan sangat penting bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan untuk dapat berkompetisi. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang semakin maju harus dapat diikuti oleh masyarakat salah satunya melalui pendidikan. Pendidikan selain penting untuk membangun pemberdayaan masyarakat terpelajar, juga menjadi landasan yang kuat untuk memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi melalui penyediaan tenaga kerja yang memiliki pengetahuan, menguasai teknologi, mempunyai keahlian, ketrampilan dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Pendidikan juga dipercaya sebagai alat strategis untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam pergaulan di dalam masyarakat. Untuk mencapai keberhasilan pendidikan di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh banyak aspek, salah satunya adalah sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, disamping loyalitas, dedikasi dan kualitas para pengajar terhadap pendidikan itu sendiri. Para pendidik, dalam hal ini guru atau dosen, merupakan salah satu pihak yang bertanggung jawab dalam berhasilnya pendidikan. Mereka dituntut untuk secara totalitas memberikan kemampuan profesionalnya terhadap dunia pendidikan, sehingga tercapai hasil yang baik dan berkualitas. Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kualitas berpengaruh terhadap keputusan orang tua murid untuk memilih sekolah, apakah kepercayaan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan orang tua murid untuk memilih sekolah, apakah kualitas sekolah dan kepercayaan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap keputusan orang tua murid dalam memilih sekolah dan mana yang lebih dominan antara kualitas dan kepercayaan dalam keputusan orang tua untuk memilih sekolah. Tujuan Penelitian adalah Untuk menganalisa pengaruh kualitas sekolah terhadap pengambilan keputusan orang tua dalam memilih sekolah untuk anaknya, menganalisa seberapa besarnya pengaruh kepercayaan orang tua murid dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk memilih sekolah anaknya, menganalisa pengaruh kualitas dan kepercayaan orang tua murid dalam pengambilan keputusam untuk memilih sekolah anaknya, menganalisa variabel yang paling berpengaruh dalam pengambilan keputusan oleh orang tua murid. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kualitas (X1) terhadap Variabel Keputusan memilih sekolah (Y), ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kepercayaan (X2) terhadap variabel keputusan memilih sekolah (Y), ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kualitas (X1) dan variabel kepercayaan (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel keputusan memilih sekolah (Y), Variabel kualitas (X1) berpengaruh dominan dibandingkan dengan variabel kepercayaan(X2) terhadap keputusan memilih sekolah (Y) Metode analisis yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel kualitas dan kepercayaan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan orang tua/wali murid dalam memilih sekolah untuk putra-putrinya. Variabel kepercayaan lebih dominan dalam mempengaruhi keputusan orang tua dalam memilih sekolah untuk putra-putrinya.
English Abstract
The science is very important for people to improve their capabilities and to be able to compete. Developments in science and technology shall be followed by people one through education. Education is important in addition to build a literate community empowerment, as well as a strong foundation to spur economic growth by providing workers with the knowledge, master the technology, the expertise, skill, and can improve quality of life. Education is also believed to be a strategic tool to increase confidence in the the community. In Indonesia, to achieve the success of education, is influenced by many aspects, one of which is adequate infrastructure, as well as loyalty, dedication and the quality of the teachers itself. Educators, in this case the teacher or professor, is one of those responsible for the success of education. They are required to provide their professional capability to the education,iinorder to achieve a good and qualified results. The problem formulated in this study is to determine whether the quality of the school effect on the decision of parents to choose a school, whether parent`s trust influence the decision of parents to choose a school, whether the school quality and the trust jointly influence the decision of parents to choose schools and which one more influence between quality and trust in the decision of parents to choose schools. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of school quality on parents` decision making in choosing a school for their children, to analyze the influence of parents trust in the decision to choose the school for their children, to analyze the influence of the quality and trust of parents in the decision to choose the schools for their children, analyzing the most influential variable in the decision making by parents. The hypothesis of this research that there is significant effect between the variable quality (X1) to choose a school decision variables (Y), there is significant effect between the variables of trust (X2) to choose a school decision variables (Y), there is a significant effect between the variable quality ( X1) and confidence variables (X2) jointly against the decision of choosing a school variable (Y), variable quality (X1) compared to the dominant influence of trust variables (X2) against the decision of choosing a school (Y)The method of analysis is by using multiple linear regression.The results showed that the variable quality and reliability together significantly influence the decisions of parents / guardians to choose schools for their children. Variables trust more dominant in influencing the decision of parents to choose schools for their children.
