Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterkaitan kebelakang dan ke depan ( backward and forward linkage ) sektor industri pengolahan di Provinsi Riau, untuk mengetahui sektor pada sektor industri pengolahan yang dapat digolongkan sebagai sektor unggul, sektor potensial berkembang dan sektor tidak unggul dan untuk mengetahui sektor-sektor yang memanfaatkan sektor industri pengolahan dalam perekonomian Provinsi Riau. Pendekatan yang dilakukan untuk penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode input-output. Tabel input-output yang digunakan adalah tabel I-O Provinsi Riau tahun 2010. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat keterkaitan kebelakang (backward linkage) sektor industri pengolahan yang mempunyai indeks daya penyebaran paling tinggi adalah sektor industri bahan bangunan dari kayu kemudian diikuti oleh sektor industri minyak hewani dan minyak nabati. Nilai indeks derajat kepekaan tertinggi pada sektor industri pengolahan adalah sektor karet remah dan karet asap. Hasil dari perhitungan indeks daya penyebaran dan indeks derajat kepekaan membagi sektor industri pengolahan menjadi empat kelompok. Kelompok tersebut adalah unggul (kuadran I), potensial unggul dan tidak unggul. Sektor minyak hewani dan minyak nabati, bubur kertas, karet remah dan karet asap, barang-barang dari logam dasar bukan besi merupakan sektor unggul di Provinsi Riau. Untuk sektor yang potensial berkembang pada kuadran II dan IV masing-masing sebanyak 28 sektor dan 3 sektor, sedangkan sektor tidak unggul (kuadran III) pada sektor industri pengolahan sebanyak 27 sektor. Sektor-sektor yang memanfaatkan sektor industri pengolahan karena mampu mendorong perekonomian dengan permintaan bahan bakunya dan juga mampu mendorong kegiatan ekonomi lain dari penyediaan outputnya adalah sektor industri pengolahan adalah sektor pertanian, sektor pertambangan dan sektor jasa.
English Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the level of backward and forward linkages manufacturing industry in Riau Province, to determine the manufacturing sector that can be classified as superior sector, developing the potential sectors and sectors are not superior and to know the sector-sectors that utilize the processing industry sector in the economy of Riau Province. The approach taken for this research is quantitative input-output method. Input-output tables used are I - O tables Riau Province in 2010. The results of this study is the degree of backward processing industry which has the highest index is the spread of industry sectors and building materials of wood, followed by the oil industry sector of animal and vegetable oils. The highest degree of sensitivity index values in the manufacturing sector is the sector of crumb rubber and rubber smoke. Results from the index calculation for distributing power and degree of sensitivity index divides the manufacturing sector into four groups. The group was superior (quadrant I), the potential winning and not winning. Animal oil and vegetable oil, paper pulp, rubber crumb and rubber smoke, the goods of base metals instead of iron is the leading sector in the province of Riau. Potential for the sector develops in quadrants II and IV respectively as many as 28 sectors and 3 sectors, while the sector is not superior (quadrant III) in a total of 27 manufacturing sectors. The sectors that utilize the manufacturing sector because it can stimulate the economy with the demand for raw materials and also to encourage other economic activities from the provision of its output is a manufacturing industry is agriculture, mining and services sectors.
