Abstract
Jalur kegempaan di Sumatera sangat komplek dan aktif, hal ini menyebabkan wilayah Sumatera memiliki tingkat seismisitas yang cukup tinggi. Perhitungan nilai tingkat aktifitas kegempaan ( a Value ) dan stress lokal ( b-Value ) di Sumatera penting dilakukan untuk memberikan informasi tentang kondisi aktivitas tektonik disuatu daerah secara lebih aktual. Dalam penelitian ini kami menghitung Vp/Vs dan tingkat stres lokal menggunakan metode least square dengan data yang diperoleh dari katalog BMKG dan katalog IRIS dari tahun 1976 - 2009 pada 10LU - 40LS dan 97,50BT – 102,50BT. Hasil yang diperoleh menujukkan bahwa nilai Vp/Vs mengalami penurunan sebelum terjadi gempa dari 1,738 pada bulan Agustus dan 1,088 pada bulan agustus 2009. Dari analisis parameter seimik dan tektonik didaerah penelitian didapatkan variasi nilai b sebelum gempa pagai berkisar 0,21-0,38, variasi nilai a 0,69-3,16 setelah gempa nilai b berkisar 0,22 – 0,38 dan variasi nilai a berkisar 0,69 – 3,17
English Abstract
Seismic lines in Sumatra is very complex and active , it causes the Sumatra region has a fairly high level of seismicity . The calculation of the value of the seismic activity level (a value) and the local stress ( b-Value) in Sumatra is important to provide information about the condition of tectonic activity in a region in greater actual . In this study we calculate Vp / Vs and local stress levels using the least squares method with data obtained from BMKG catalogs and catalog IRIS from years 1976 - 2009 on 10N - 40S and 97,50W - 102,50E . Results obtained shows that the value of Vp / Vs before the earthquake decreased from 1,738 in August and 1,088 in August 2009. From the analysis parameters and tectonic area seimic research found variations in the value of b before the earthquake Pagai ranged from 0.21 to 0.38 , variations in the value of a 0.69 to 3.16 after the earthquake b values ranged from 0.22 to 0.38 and a variation in a range from 0.69 to 3.17
