Abstract

Manajemen gudang merupakan kegiatan pengelolaan barang yang tersimpan dalam gudang. PT Mitra Pinasthika Mulia Surabaya merupakan perusahaan yang menggunakan sistem manajemen gudang sebagai faktor pendukung kinerja dalam perusahaan. PT MPM berencana membangun sistem manajemen gudang baru karena menurut bisnis analis PT MPM, saat ini sistem manajemen gudang yang dimiiliki belum menunjang kegiatan operasional. PT MPM bekerja sama dengan vendor yang merupakan pengembang sistem untuk mengembangkan sistem manajemen gudang baru. Dalam mengembangkan sistem dibutuhkan dokumentasi perancangan sistem dan analisis kebutuhan dari masalah yang ditimbulkan sistem lama untuk membantu PT MPM menyampaikan sistem seperti apa yang diinginkan kepada vendor. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana menganalisis dan merancang sebuah sistem yang dapat dipahami oleh vendor dan PT MPM. Analisis perancangan dilakukan menggunakan metode FAST (Framework for the Application of System Thinking) pada empat fase awal. Pada tiga fase pertama dihasilkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dengan PIECES sebagai kerangka untuk klasifikasi masalah, pada fase desain logis dihasilkan usecase, activity diagram, sequence diagram, wirefame, class diagram, CDM, dan PDM. Selain itu, pada proses evaluasi perancangan menggunakan metode consistency analysis terbukti memiliki nilai presentase 100% konsisten dan termasuk kategori correctness pada uji correctness yang membuktikan bahwa kebutuhan sistem dengan perancangan sistem bersifat konsisten dan benar.

English Abstract

Warehouse management is a management activity of goods stored in the warehouse. PT Mitra Pinasthika Mulia Surabaya is a company that uses warehouse management system to support performance of company. PT MPM plans to build new warehouse management system because, according to analyst business of PT MPM, warehouse management system currently does not support the operational activities. PT MPM works with vendors who are system developers to develop new warehouse management systems. In developing the system required documentation system design and needs analysis of the problems caused by the old system to help PT MPM deliver system like what they want to the vendor. Therefore, the research explains how to analyze and design a system that can be understood by vendors and PT MPM. The design analysis was carried out using the FAST (Framework for the Application of System Thinking) method in four phases. In the first three phases produce requirement analysis with PIECES as the framework for classification of problems, in the logical design phase produce usecase, activity diagram, sequence diagram, wirefame, class diagram, CDM, and PDM. The process of design evaluation using consistency analysis method proved to have a 100% percentage value consistent and including the correctness category on the correctness test proving that system requirements with system design is consistent and correct.
