Abstract
Telah dilakukan suatu penelitian untuk merancang dan membuat termometer badan dengan output display angka digital dan suara berbasis mikrokontroler AT89C51. T ermometer badan dengan dua output ini dirancang dan dibuat untuk mengukur temperatur badan manusia bagi mereka yang memiliki kondisi normal dan tidak normal dalam hal pengelihatan. S istem termometer ini menggunakan IC LM35 sebagai sensor suhu badan, ADC0809 berfungsi mengubah tegangan analog menjadi digital, mikrokontroler AT89C51 berfungsi mengontrol keseluruhan sistem, LCD16x2 sebagai tampilan angka digital, dan ISD1420 untuk menyimpan suara yang akan dikeluarkan melalui loud speaker. P e ngujian keseluruhan sistem menunjukkan bahwa nilai suhu yang terukur mendekati nilai suhu dari termometer referensi. Nilai suhu terukur ditampilkan dengan jelas pada LCD16x2 dan juga pada loud speaker.
English Abstract
I t had been carried out research to design and make a body thermometer using a numeral digital display and sound output based on microcontroller AT89C51. Body thermometer with this two outputs was designed and made to measure human body temperature for those who have normal condition and abberrent vision. T his thermometer system uses IC LM35 as a body temperature sensor, ADC0809 as analog to digital converter, microcontroller AT89C51 as a whole control system, LCD16x2 as a numerical digital display, and ISD1420 which has a function to save the sound released through loud speaker. T h e whole system testing showed that measured values of temperature approach temperature values from thermometer as a reference. It displayed clearly on LCD16x2, and was heard on loud speaker as well.
