Abstract

Penelitian mengenai rancang bangun sistem irigasi dan pemberian nutrisi otomatis berbasis RTC (Real Time Clock) pada sistem hidroponik nutrien film technique (NFT) telah dilakukan di rumah kaca Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Jawa Timur. Sistem tersebut sebelum diterapkan untuk mengendalikan waktu irigasi dan pemberian nutrisi pada pertumbuhan tanaman. Pak choy dilakukan uji coba terhadap perangkat keras dan lunak. Adapun Parameter yang diuji meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, diameter bonggol, berat basah tanaman dan berat kering tanaman. Pengamatan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun dilakukan setelah tanaman berumur pak choy berumur 14 HST (Hari Setelah Tanam) sedangkan panjang akar, diameter bonggol, berat basah tanaman dan berat kering tanaman pada saat panen. Selain itu akan dilakukan pegujian larutan nutrisi dilakukan pada setiap hari pada kedua perlakuan dengan menggunakan alat EC (electro conductivity). Sistem irigasi dilakukan secara otomatis dengan sistem on dan off. Secara keseluruhan sistem irigasi dan pemberian nutrisi otomatis menggunakan timer RTC DS1307 dengan microkontroler 16 pada budidaya pakcoy masih belum terkoordinasi dengan baik. Pada pengamatan pertumbuhan tanaman pak choy yang dilakukan selama 28 hari dengan perlakuan irigasi berbasis otomatis dan perlakuan irigasi secara terus-menerus mununjukkan perlakuan yang terbaik.

English Abstract

Research on system architecture of granting automatic irrigation and nutrient-based RTC (Real Time Clock) on the system of hydroponics nutrient film technique (NFT) has been carried out in a greenhouse study of agricultural technology Hall of East Java.The system before it is applied to control the irrigation time and giving of nutrientson the growth of plants. Pak choy conducted trials against hardware and software. As for the Parameter being tested include number of leaves, plant height, root length, diameter, weight of wet plants and dry weight of the plant. Observation of plant and the amount of leaves of the plant was done after the pak choy 14 HST (Days after planting) while the root length, diameter, weight of wet plants and plant dry weight at the time of harvest.In addition it would do research a nutrient solution is done on a daily basis in both treatments by using EC (electro conductivity). Irrigation systems is done automatically by the system on and off. Overall irrigation system and granting automatic nutrition using DS1307 RTC timer with microkontroler 16 on cultivation of pakcoy still not wellcoordinated. Observation on growth of pak choy plant is done for 28 days with a treatment-based automatic irrigation and irrigation treatment continuously shows the best.
