Rahmawati, Dystie Anggun (2017) Efisiensi Penurunan Parameter Bod, TSS, Nitrat, Dan Amonia Dalam Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah MCK Berbasis Biofilm Mikroalga. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Indonesia is one of on the world where domestic pollution is the biggest polluters (85%) that goes into a river. The majority of citizent still dispose of domestic waste water from daily activities (grey water) casually into the drainage channels which it intended for rainfall water to rain. Actually we need to build the wastewater treatment plant facility independently. The author applies the wastewater treatment plant based on this combine with biofilm mikroalga technology in this research. The purpose of the study is to know the best of detention time processing, the efficiency from decreasing the parameters of BOD, TSS, nitrate, and ammonia and knowing the results raw water quality processing. In this research design of waste water treatment plant installation using many design with reactor processing that consists of several processes such as sedimentation, filtration, biofilm, mikroalga, and reservoir with a volume of wastewater of 400 l. Based on research results, the best of detention time sewage treatment for 24 hours. The characteristics of the wastewater after processing is pH 7, BOD 10.58 mg/L, TSS 8.5 mg/L, nitrate 1.283 mg/L, and ammonia 0.029 mg/L. Regulation of Indonesian waste water quality determineted by referring on Government Regulations Republic of indonesia Number 82 2001 About Water Treatment and Water Pollution Control from that regulation the parameters of the pH. TSS, nitrate, and ammonia in this research entered quality class II whereas the parameters of BOD is not included. The writer directs the result of water treatment intended for class III.
