Abstract
Pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia yang tinggi membuat diperlukannya usaha pemenuhan konsumsi pangan secara efektif. Namun banyaknya lahan rusak di Indonesia membuat program peningkatan hasil pertanian menjadi terhambat. Salah satu penyebab rusaknya lahan di Indonesia adalah penggunaan pupuk secara salah dan berlebihan di Indonesia. Salah satu solusi yang bisa diterapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah mengubah ukuran pupuk menjadi nanofertilizer. Nanofertilizer dapat dibuat dengan memanfaatkan efek kavitasi untuk memecah ukuran partikel pupuk menjadi berukuran nanopartikel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain dan pengujian mesin penghasil nanofertilizer. Dari hasil pengujian dapat diketahui bahwa semakin lama waktu proses sonifikasi dan semakin tinggi suhu yang dihasilkan maka semakin kecil ukuran partikel pupuk yang dihasilkan. Salah satu percobaan yaitu pada 500C dengan waktu 50 menit didapat ukuran 50 nm. Untuk pengujian efisiensi sensor suhu didapat efisiens sebesar 82,5%. Jika dibandingkan dengan mesin penghasil nanopartikel lainnya,maka mesin ini memiliki waktu proses yang lebih cepat dan ukuran yang dihasilkan lebih kecil.
