Abstract
Ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) Publik yang merupakan area bervegetasi dikelola pemerintah kota difungsikan menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem perkotaan utamanya menyerap emisi CO2. Peningkatan teknologi dan pembangunan yang tidak ramah lingkungan memicu bertambahnya jumlah karbondioksida. Pasuruan salahsatu kota yang kepadatan penduduk dan jalur transportasinya tinggi serta banyak industri memiliki potensi emisi CO2 besar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kecukupan RTH Publik berdasarkan kemampuan daya serap CO2 dan kesesuaian sebaran RTH terhadap emisi CO2 Kota Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode spasial. Beban emisi CO2 dari respirasi penduduk, LPG, industri, dan kendaraan bermotor dihitung menggunakan persamaan Gaussian. Daya serap CO2 RTH didapatkan dari perkalian daya serap CO2 dengan jumlah vegetasi. Selanjutnya hasil perhitungan dianalisis secara spasial menggunakan bantuan software Arcview 3.3. RTH Publik Kota Pasuruan tediri dari 31 taman berskala dan sabuk hijau di 59 ruas jalan yang tersebar di 34 kelurahan. Beban CO2 tiap kelurahan antara 1000000-11150000 kg/th dan daya serap CO2 RTH Publik antara 200-5970000 kg/th. Sebaran RTH belum sesuai pada kelurahan yang memiliki beban emisi CO2 tinggi dan kemampuan saya serapnya tidak mencukupi untuk menyerap total beban CO2 (satu kelurahan yang kemampuan daya serap CO2 RTHnya mencukupi) sehingga sisa total CO2 yang belum terserap 131371963 kg/th. Penambahan jumlah dan jenis pohon yang berdaya serap CO2 tinggi yang penempatannya disesuaikan dengan kondisi masing-masing kelurahan dan diprioritaskan pada kelurahan dengan beban emisi CO2 tinggi menjadi rekomendasi dari penelitian ini.
English Abstract
Public open green space is a green area which is managed by local government and used to keep the ecosystem of city also to absorb the CO2 emission. Hazard technology and building make CO2 emission from many sources to be higher. Pasuruan is one of city with high density residents, transportations and industry. It means Pasuruan has potential for high total carbon dioxide. Goal of research is to find out CO2 capacity absorption of green open spaces and suitability the spread of open green spaces toward CO2 emission in Pasuruan City. Spatial method is used to analyst in this research. CO2 emission of respiration humans, consume of LPG, transportations, and industries are calculated by Gaussian equation. CO2 capacity absorption are calculated use capacity absorption CO2 every species of plant with sum of plant multiplication. Then the result is criticism use spatial analyst use Arcview 3.3 software. Public open green spaces in Pasuruan include of 31 park area and 59 green belt where spread in 34 villages. Every village has 1000000-11150000 kg CO2/year emission and 200-5970000 kg CO2/year capacity absorption of open green spaces. Spread location of open green spaces aren’t yet suitable in high CO2 load villages and open green space capacity absorption still cannot absorb total emission of CO2 (only one village that the CO2 capacity absorption can absorb CO2 load totally) and about 131371963 kg CO2/year load not yet absorb. From this condition, it should be increasing sum of trees in the open green spaces and choose CO2 high capacity absorption trees with suitable placement appropriate every village condition, and also make it priority for high load CO2 villages.
