Abstract
Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) Mulyasari yang terletak di Desa Argosuko, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang, merupakan industri rumahan (home industry) yang memproduksi minuman sari buah belimbing. Kendala terbesar yang dialami perusahaan pada tahap produksi adalah proses filling and sealing (pengisian dan penutupan). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi proses dan faktor-faktor penyebab cacat pada proses filling and sealing produk sari buah belimbing di UKM Mulyasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode six sigma yaitu define, measure, dan analyze. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kunci karakteristik kualitas adalah cacat cup, cacat lid, cacat sliding mesin, dan cacat kotor. Data hasil uji normalitas telah terdistribusi normal, karena Asymptotic Significance 2-tailed mempunyai nilai lebih dari 0,05. Peta P menunjukkan bahwa semua subgrup dari proses telah terkendali. Proses filling and sealing telah memasuki rata-rata industri di Indonesia, karena berada di level 2,42 sigma. Kapabilitas proses UKM Mulyasari dikatakan layak untuk standar Indonesia, karena mempunyai nilai 82,13%. FMEA menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang paling berpengaruh menyebabkan cacat yaitu kelalaian pekerja. Hal ini bisa diatasi dengan memperketat pengawasan dan mengubah posisi kerja.
English Abstract
Mulyasari home industry which is located at Argosuko Village, Poncokusumo Sub-District, Malang Regency, is one of home industry that produced star fruit juice. The biggest obstacles experienced by the company at the stage of production is the process of filling and sealing. The purpose of this research was to identify the process and factors that cause the defects in the process of filling and sealing of star fuit juice in Mulyasari home industry. Six sigma methods was used in this research which was cosisting of define, measure, and analyze. The results showed that that critical to quality were cup defect, lid defect, sliding machine defect, and dirty defect. Normality test result showed that the data were normally distributed, because Asymptotic Significance 2-tailed has a value of more than 0,05. P control chart showed that all of subgroups of the process was considered to be controlled. Filling and sealing process was already on the industry average in Indonesia, which is at 2,24 sigma level. The process capability of Mulyasari home industry could be feasible for Indonesian standards, because it has a value of 82,13%. FMEA showed that the most influential factor causes the defect was the bad awarness of workers. This problem can be handled by strict control and changing the working position.
