Abstract
Kabupaten Lamongan merupakan salah satu kabupaten di provinsi Jawa Timur yang mempunyai potensi besar dalam bidang perikanan laut. Kecamatan Brondong dan Kecamatan Paciran merupakan wilayah yang memiliki potensi strategis bagi pengembangan industri pengolahan hasil laut. Akan tetapi industri kurang berkembang dengan baik. Permasalahan tersebut dihubungkan dengan kinerja industri belum efektif. Terlihat dari bidang manajemen, teknologi dan sistem produksi yang masih kurang optimal, sehingga berdampak pada kapasitas produksi yang dihasilkan sedikit. Berdasarkan permasalahan diperlukan suatu analisis efektivitas kinerja yang dapat mengembangkan industri pengolahan hasil laut di kabupaten Lamongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efektifitas nilai rata-rata dari indikator dan menentukan keterkaitan (pengaruh dan hubungan) antara variabel manajemen, teknologi dan sistem produksi terhadap efektivitas kinerja industri menggunakan metode Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan keterkaitan (pengaruh dan hubungan) manajemen, teknologi, sistem produksi terhadap efektivitas kinerja industri pengolahan hasil laut di kabupaten Lamongan terlihat pada model Y1=0.590X1+0.538X2 dan Y2=0.870X1+0.847X2-0.517Y1 dengan nilai FIT dan AFIT 40,1%. Kinerja efektif dilihat dari indikator kerjasama dengan pihak lain (Y22), pangsa pasar (Y24) dan kepuasan konsumen (Y25). Manajemen berpengaruh positif terhadap sistem produksi. Penerapan manajemen yang baik pada jumlah tenaga kerja yang digunakan industri mencukupi dalam menjalankan proses produksi. Teknologi berpengaruh positif terhadap sistem produksi. Penggunaan sistem produksi membantu industri dalam kelancaran proses produksi, distribusi dan pemasaran produk. Manajemen tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas kinerja. Tingkat pendidikan tenaga kerja yang rendah sehingga menghasilkan produk yang masih kurang inovatif. Teknologi tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas kinerja. Penggunaan mesin dan peralatan yang digunakan industri pengolahan hasil laut masih tradisional. Sistem produksi tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas kinerja. Belum adanya penjadwalan produksi dan standar operasional prosedur dari tiap-tiap proses produksi.
English Abstract
Lamongan is one of the districts in East Java province that has great potential in the field of marine fisheries. Brondong and Paciran sub-district are some if its’ regional which has strategic potential for the development of the seafood processing industry. However, the industry is less well developed. The problems associated with the performance of the industry are ineffective. Seen from the fields of management, technology and production systems are still not optimal, so the impact on the production capacity resulting slightly. Based on the problems an analysis of the effectiveness of performance is required which can develop seafood processing industry in Lamongan district. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the average value of the indicator and determine the relevance (influence and relationships) between variables of management, technology and production systems on the effectiveness of the industry's performance using the Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Results of the study showed the linkages (influence and relationship) management, technology, production systems of the effectiveness of the performance of the seafood processing industry in Lamongan district sow in the models Y1 = 0.590X1 + 0.538X2 and Y2 = 0.870X1 + 0.847X2-0.517Y1 with values FIT and AFIT 40.1%. Effective performance seen from the indicators cooperation with other parties (Y22), market share (Y24), and customer satisfaction (Y25). Management has positive influence on the production system. The application of good management on the amount of labor used in the industry is sufficient enough to run the production process. Technology has positive influence on the production system. The use of industrial production systems assist in the smooth process of production, distribution and marketing of products. Management does not affect the effectiveness of the performance. Training, promotion and quality control are not applied so the impact on low productivity and scope of the market is still small. Technology does not affect the effectiveness of the performance. The use of machinery and equipment used in seafood processing industry is still traditional the production capacity generated less than optimal. Production system does not affect the effectiveness of the performance. There is an absence of production scheduling and standard operating procedures of each production process so that products undergo fluctuated and the quality is not uniform.
