Abstract

Air merupakan elemen penting bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup. Air memiliki banyak kegunaan, salah satunya yakni untuk irigasi. Irigasi terbagi menjadi beberapa sistem yaitu irigasi permukaan, irigasi curah, dan irigasi tetes. Irigasi permukaan membutuhkan saluran irigasi untuk mengalirkan air menuju area persawahan. Daerah Irigasi Sonosari yang berada di Kabupaten Malang termasuk daerah yang menggunakannya. Kerugian dari sistem irigasi permukaan yakni banyak air yang hilang selama penyaluran air di saluran. Akibatnya air yang sampai di sawah tidak sesuai rencana. Kehilangan ini berdampak pada nilai efisiensi saluran. Karenanya perlu ada penelitian terkait efisiensi saluran di daerah irigasi sonosari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui nilai efsiensi saluran irigasi dan besarnya kehilngan air di saluran serta bagaimana kondisi saluran irigasi di Daerah Irigasi Sonosari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun efisiensi dan kehilangan air dihitung menggunakan metode inflow-outflow. Nilai hasil perhitungan tersebut selanjutnya akan dibandingkan dengan ketentuan dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umam untuk diketahui kelayakannya. Data tersebut juga akan diuji menggunakan uji T. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa dinding saluran primer masih banyak yang tanpa pasangan batu, sehingga banyak tanaman di tepi saluran. Tanaman-tanaman tersebut antara lain bambu, kelapa, pisang, dan rumput. Saluran juga nampak kotor karena banyaknya sampah di badan saluran. Dinding saluran yang berupa pasangan batu juga banyak yang mengalami kerusakan dan perlu diperbaiki. Efisiensi saluran primer secara umum telah memenuhi kriteria dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umum, namun ada beberapa titik yang efisiensinya di bawah ketentuan. Titik-titik tersebut yaitu ruas 2 dengan efisiensi 88,05%; ruas 6 dengan efisiensi 85,11%; ruas 9 dengan efisiensi 86,85%, ruas 11 dengan efisiensi 87,23%; ruas 12 dengan efisiensi 86,96%; dan ruasn 15 dengan efisiensi 86,41%. Adapun saluran sekunder yang tidak memenuhi ketentuan yaitu saluran SS 2 yang efisiensinya sebesar 87,54%. Kehilangan air di saluran primer rata-rata yaitu 0,028 m3/s. Kehilangan air tersebut disebabkan oleh evaporasi, rembesan, evapotranspirasi tanaman, penyerapan air oleh tanaman dan kebocoran. Adapun kehilangan air di saluran sekunder yaitu 0,009 m3/s di saluran SS 2 dan 0,004 m3/s di saluran SS 4.

English Abstract

Water is an essential element for the survival of living beings. Water has many uses, one of which is for irrigation. Irrigation systems are divided into several surface irrigation, irrigation, rainfall, and drip irrigation. Surface irrigation requires irrigation canals to drain water into the paddy fields. Irrigation Area Sonosari located in Malang, including areas that use them. Losses from surface irrigation system that is a lot of water is lost during distribution of water in the channel. As a result, the water in the rice fields do not conform to the plan. These losses have an impact on the value of the channel efficiency. Therefore there needs to be research related channel efficiency in irrigated areas Sonosari he purpose of this research is to determine the value of efficiency of irrigation channels and water in the channel magnitude kehilngan and how the conditions of irrigation channels in Sonosari Irrigation Area. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. As for efficiency and water loss is calculated using the inflow-outflow. The calculated values will then be compared with the provisions of the Department of Employment Umam to know its feasibility. Such data will also be tested using the test T. Based on this research, it is known that the primary channel walls are still many without masonry, so many plants on the edge of the channel. These plants include bamboo, coconuts, bananas, and grass. Channels also appears dirty because of the garbage in the agency channel. The channel walls in the form of stone masonry also were damaged and x need to be repaired. The primary channel efficiency generally has met the criteria of the Department of Public Works, but there are some points that under the terms of its efficiency. Those points that segment 2 with an efficiency of 88.05%; 6 segments with efficiency 85.11%; 9 segments with efficiency 86.85%, segment 11 with efficiency 87.23%; 12 segment with 86.96% efficiency; and ruasn 15 with an efficiency of 86.41%. As for the secondary channels that do not comply with that channel SS 2 which efficiency of 87.54%. Loss of water in the primary channel average is 0,028 m3 / s. The water loss due to evaporation, seepage, evapotranspiration, water absorption by plants and leaks. The loss of water in the secondary channel is 0,009 m3 / s in the channel SS 2 and 0,004 m3 / s in the channel SS 4
