Abstract
Sektor pertanian selama ini telah memberikan sumbangan yang tidak sedikit dalam proses pembangunan nasional. Namun akhir-akhir ini, produktivitas sektor pertanian cenderung terus menurun dikarenakan kegiatan pembangunan yang hanya berorientasikan pada pertumbuhan ekonomi semata. Sistem plant factory merupakan cara baru untuk menumbuhkan tanaman di bawah lingkungan yang terkendali seperti didalam bangunan. Pada penelitian ini, faktor pertumbuhan yang akan digunakan sebagai kontrol adalah cahaya khususnya pencahayaan untuk pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan objek penelitian berupa tanaman sawi hijau (Brassica rapa var. parachinensis) karena tanaman ini mudah di tanam di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan cahaya LED merah dan biru, serta perlakuan cahaya fluorescent terhadap pertumbuhan sawi, dan berikutnya untuk mengetahui berapa perbandingan terbaik antara cahaya LED dengan fluorescent untuk mencapai pertumbuhan optimum tanaman sawi pada plant factory. Dalam hal ini, perlakuan dengan fluorescent akan digunakan sebagai variabel kontrol dalam pengamatan. Data yang diukur berupa temperatur udara, intensitas cahaya dan pengukuran fisik tanaman. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisa data dari tanaman sawi adalah menggunakan metode anova satu arah dengan 4 jumlah perlakuan dan 24 hari masa pengamatan. Dari hasil pengamatan selama 24 hari masa tanaman tanaman sawi hijau, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tanaman sawi yang ditanam pada perlakuan denganmenggunakan lampu fluorescent dengan nilai tinggi rata-rata ranaman hari ke 24 sebesar 74,13 mm, rata-rata tinggi per hari sebesar 53,96 mm dan untuk diameter tanaman sebesar 1 mm.
English Abstract
Agricultural sector until this moment is already give contribute that is’nt little in the national development process. But in recently years, the productivity in this sector is show decreasing in value due to development activities that only oriented in economic value growth and then reduction the most agriculture land in Indonesia. Plant factory system is a new way to grow the plants in the building under controlled environment. In this study, a growth factor of plants that will be usedas the control is intensity of light, especially the lightning for plant growth. Plants that can be cultivated in this plant factory systems is such as green mustard (Brassica rapa var. parachinensis). Using green mustard as the research object because this plants are easily to grown in Indonesia. There are two aims in this study the first is for know the difference effect of treatment with red-blue LED then compare to treatment with white fluorescent light for green mustard growth, and the second is for determining a best composition from each different treatment to reach the optimum growth of green mustard in the plant factory environment. In this case, treatment with fluorescent light will be used as a control variable for observation. The research parameter are air temperature, light intensity and plants physical measurement such as diameter and height. Methods for analyze green mustard’s data measurement is using one way analysis of variance (anova) with 4 level treatments and 24 day of observation. 24 day or 3 weekafter plant, we concluded by one way anova calculation method that green mustard which plants under fluorescent light is the highest of plants height average instead of others treatment under red-blue LED light by 74,13 mm of height plant average, height plant average per day is 53,96 mm and 1 mm of plant diameter average.
