Abstract

BROSEM (Bromo Semeru) didirikan oleh Kelompok Tani Wanita BROSEM PKK Kota Batu, dengan tenaga kerja sekitar 50 orang. Selain sari apel, BROSEM juga memproduksi jenang apel, jenang nanas, dan aneka keripik buah. Sari apel BROSEM telah dipasarkan di Jawa Timur dan Bali. Saat ini, sari apel BROSEM dihadapkan pada permasalahan produksi sari apel. Permintaan konsumen tidak dapat dipenuhi oleh perusahaan karena terbatasnya persediaan di gudang produk jadi. Untuk mengatasinya, perusahaan melakukan pembelian sari apel ke perusahaan sejenis. Namun mengakibatkan perusahaan mengeluarkan biaya yang lebih tinggi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut digunakan metode pengendalian persediaan dengan pendekatan Supply Chain Management. yang diharapkan dapat m engendalikan persediaan melalui keseimbangan aliran bahan baku dan informasi di tiap-tiap jaringan dalam rantai pasok agar perubahan permintaan dan pasokan bisa diketahui secara cepat yang pada akhirnya dapat memperlancar proses produksi dan memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November 2012 sampai selesai di UKM BROSEM Kota Batu, Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan untuk meramalkan permintaan konsumen periode Januari 2013 – Desember 2013 adalah time series dan dekomposisi dengan menggunakan software Minitab 16 sedangkan untuk perhitungan supply chain menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2007. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen yang tinggi di tahun 2013, UKM BROSEM dapat mengendalikan persediaannya dengan rata-rata sari apel yang tersimpan di bagian penyimpanan produk jadi sebesar 15.672 dos/bulan. Rata - rata kebutuhan apel untuk proses pengolahan sebesar 3.109 kg/bulan dan rata - rata pesanan apel ke supplier sebesar 3.333 kg/bulan. Dan didapatkan service level perusahaan BROSEM dalam pemenuhan permintaan konsumen sebesar 103,28%.

English Abstract

BROSEM (Bromo Semeru) is established by Women Farmers Group of BROSEM PKK Kota Batu, and consists of 50 workers. BROSEM does not only produce apple cider but also apple porridge, pineappl porridge, as well as fruit chips. BROSEMs apple cider has been marketed across East Java and Bali. Nowadays, BROSEMs apple cider is facing a problem with their production. The consumers demand cant be fulfilled due to a limited number of stock inventory at the finished product warehouse. To handle this situation, the company makes a purchase of apple cider from similar companies. However, this leads to a higher expenses for the company. To address this issue, Supply Chain Management approach is implemented to control the inventory. This method is expected to control the inventory by balancing the raw materials flow and the information at each networks within the supply chain so that any changes on the supply and demand can be identified quickly which in turn will accelerate the production process and fulfill consumers demand. This research was conducted from November 2012 until the end of research period at UKM BROSEM Kota Batu, East Java. The method applied to predict consumers demand in January 2013 – December 2013 is time series method and decomposition by using Minitab 16, while for calculating the supply chain, the researcher used Microsoft Excel 2007. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that to fulfill the high consumers demand in 2013, UKM BROSEM could control its inventory where the average number of apple cider stored at the finished product warehouse is 15,672 box/month. The average number of demand for apples for production process is 3,109 kg/month and average number of apple orders to suppliers is 3,333 kg/month. We also obtained that the service level of BROSEM company in meeting consumers demand is 103.28%.
