Abstract

Penelitian tentang “Analisa Kualitas Perairan Sungai Klinter Nganjuk Berdasarkan Parameter Biologi (plankton)” telah dilaksanakan pada bulan agustus 2012, bertujuan Bagaimana kualitas perairan sungai klinter dengan menggunakan parameter biologi (plankton) dengan indeks keanekaragaman dan indeks saprobik. Sampel diambil dari 3 stasiun pengamatan dan pada setiap stasiun pengamatan dilakukan tiga kali ulangan. Titik pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan plankton net. Identifikasi sampel dilakukan di Laboratorium Hidrobiologi Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Hasil penelitian pada tiga stasiun didapatkan nilai parameter fisik - kimia seperti TSS, DO, NO3-N dan fosfat tergolong masih layak karena masih memenuhi baku mutu air golongan IV menurut PP.RI.No.82 tahun 2001. Nilai tertinggi TSS, DO, NO3-N dan fosfat yaitu sebesar 35.67 mg/l, 0.74 mg/l, 1.47 mg/l dan 0.19 mg/l. Hasil penelitian juga didapatkan 3 divisi plankton yang terdiri dari divisi Chlorophyta sebanyak 6 jenis, Chrysophyta sebanyak 9 jenis, dan Cyanophyta sebanyak 3 jenis. Nilai kelimpahan tertinggi didapat pada stasiun 2 yakni sebesar 371269.5 ind/l, sedangkan kelimpahan terendah terdapat pada stasiun 3 yakni sebesar 84354.2 ind/l. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman, kemerataan, dan saprobitas tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 1 yakni sebesar 2.04 ind/l, 0.18 ind/l dan -0.27 ind/l. sedangkan keanekaragaman dan kemerataan terendah terdapat pada stasiun 2 yakni 0.55, 0.04, dan -2.49 ind/l. Secara garis besar, kualitas perairan sungai Klinter berdasarkan indeks keanekaragaman dan saprobitas termasuk dalam katagori tercemar sedang sampai sangat berat.

English Abstract

Research about “water quality analysis of Klinter River discharge liquid waste off paper industry, based on biology (plankton)” has been done at august 2012, with the aims to examine water quality of klinter river based on biological indicator. Have as a purpose how about uality of klinter river based on plankton diversity index and saprobic index. Samples were taken from three observation station with performed 3 times. Samples point was determined by purposive random sampling methods. Samples were taken by using plankton net. Sample identification established in Hidrobiological laboratory of Fishery and Ocean Science Faculty in Brawijaya University, Malang. Based on the research show grade of chemist-fisical parameters likes DO, TSS, nitrate and Phosphate are not feasible because it doesn’t accordance with the water quality standards group IV according to PP.RI. No. 82 year 2001. The worst highest value of DO, TSS, nitrate and Phosphate was found 35.67 mg/l, 0.74 mg/l, 1.47 mg/l dan 1.47 mg/l. From the research also found 3 division of plankton that consists of 6 types Chlorophyta, 9 types of Chrysophyta, and 3 types Cyanophyta. The highest overflowing grade found in station 2 for amount 371269.5 ind/l. while the lowest overflowing found in station 3 for amount 84354.2 ind/L. The highest grade of diversity, equability, and saprobic indexs were found in station 1 for amount 2.04 ind/l, 0.18 ind/l, dan 0.27 ind/l. While the lowest grade of diversity, equability, and saprobic indexs were found in station 2 for amount 0.55 ind/l, 0.04 ind/l, and -2.49 ind/l. In outline, Klinter rivers quality in terms of diversity and saprobic indexs included in the category of moderate to very severe polluted.
