Abstract
Pengembangan dan pertumbuhan IKM merupakan salah satu penggerak bagi pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia. Industri kecil yang diharapkan perannya sebagai kelanjutan pembangunan pertanian adalah industri yang mengolah hasil-hasil pertanian yaitu singkong yang dapat diolah menjadi kerupuk singkong. Permasalahan dalam industri kerupuk singkong salah satunya yaitu adopsi teknologi. Adopsi teknologi memiliki dampak positif terhadap kinerja industri, karena teknologi berperan dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas industri dan dapat mengeleminasi limbah dalam proses produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi Proses Adopsi Teknologi pada sentra industri kerupuk singkong serta mengetahui tingkatan adopsi teknologi yang telah diadopsi oleh sentra industri kerupuk singkong yang akan diukur berdasarkan level of use . Analisa data dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Square dan software SmartPLS. Tingkat Adopsi Teknologi dianaliis berdasarkan level of use yang dibagi dalam delapan level yaitu non use , orientation , preparation , mechanical use , routine , refinement , integration , dan renewal . Penelitian dilakukan di Sentra Industri Kerupuk Singkong, Desa Kemasantani, Kecamatan Gondang, Kabupaten Mojokerto, Jawa Timur yang dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2012 sampai selesai. Pengolahan data dilakukan di Laboratorium Komputasi dan Analisis Sistem, Jurusan Teknologi Industri Pertanian, Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi Proses Adopsi Teknologi adalah orientasi pelanggan dengan t-statistik 6,230 dan indikator yang berpengaruh adalah orientasi pelanggan, struktur pemodalan dengan t-statistik 2,292 dan indikator yang berpengaruh adalah stabilitas penjualan, serta kompetensi SDM dengan t-statistik 8,230 dan indikator yang berpengaruh adalah keterampilan. Tingkat Adopsi Teknologi pada IKM kerupuk singkong Desa Kemasantani yang terbesar adalah berada pada level routine yaitu sebesar 68,42%, yang kedua berada pada tingkatan orientation yaitu sebesar 13,6%, yang ketiga berada pada tingkatan mechanical use yaitu sebesar 10,53% dan yang terakhir berada pada tingkatan refinement yaitu sebesar 7,89%.
English Abstract
The growth and augmentation of IKM happen to be the factors which enhance the economical development in Indonesia. Microbusiness which is expected to be the continuation of farming improvement is the industry that makes use of crops i.e., in this case, cassava which can be turned out into cassava crackers. One of the problem presented in cassava crackers industry is technology adoption. Technology adoption has a positive effect toward the industrial productivity. for the reason that, in fact, technology posseses a crucial role in increasing industry’s profitability and eliminating discarded waste in production process. The purpose of this study is to recognize the variables which influence the Technology Adoption within central point of cassava crackers industry as well as to see the level of technology adoption that has been implemented by the central industry of cassava crackers using ‘level of use’ by which this fenomenon is rated. Furthermore, data analysis is conducted by employing ‘Partial Least Square’ method and SmartPLS software. The rate of Technology Adoption, which is analyzed based on ‘level of use’, is divided into eight levels: non use, orientation, preparation, mechanical use, routine, refinement, integration, and renewal. This study is settled in Central Industry of cassava crackers, Desa Kemasantani, Kecamatan Gondang, Kabupaten Mojokerto, Jawa Timur on May, 2012 untill finished. Data processing is held in the Laboratory of Computing and System 10 Analysis, Technology of Agriculture Industry Department, Faculty of Agriculture Technology, Brawijaya University, Malang. Based on the result of the study, it is found that there are some variables which influence the Technology Adopting Process. The first one is that market orientation with t-statistic of 6,230 whose customer orientation become the influential indicator. Next would be the structure of investment with t- statistic of 2,292 and selling stability as the significant indicator. Last but not least happens to be competency of Human Resources with t-statistic of 8,230 and important indicator is skill. From the highest to the lowest one, rate of Technology Adoption of IKM kerupuk cassava Desa Kemasantani are found out to be in the level of routine (68,42%), orientation (13,6%), mechanical use (10,53%), and refinement (7,89%)
