Abstract
Pusat Koperasi Industri Susu (PKIS) Sekar Tanjung merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri pengolahan susu. Produk yang dihasilkan antara lain Susu Juara (produk utama), Susu Idola, Susu Real Good, Susu Sekar dan Susu Starkit dengan berbagai rasa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh PKIS Sekar Tanjung adalah sulitnya meramalkan permintaan produk untuk menetapkan jadwal induk produksi. Pada beberapa periode produksi, jumlah produksi tidak sesuai dengan permintaan aktual, sehingga permintaan konsumen tidak dapat dipenuhi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meramalkan permintaan produk menggunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan guna menetapkan jadwal induk produksi dan membandingkan hasil peramalan dengan permintaan aktual di perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan Juli - Agustus 2008 di PKIS Sekar Tanjung, Pasuruan. Penerapan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan dimulai dengan merancang arsitektur jaringan, penggunaan algoritma pembelajaran Backpropagation, pengujian dan pengolahan data. Penentuan jadwal induk produksi meliputi perencana agregat menggunakan metode transportasi dan perencanaan disagregat menggunakan metode Hax dan Meal . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model jaringan terbaik adalah 1 hidden layer dengan 5 neuron . Berdasarkan model jaringan tersebut diperoleh nilai peramalan permintaan susu juara untuk periode September-Desember 2008 adalah 665.915 unit untuk rasa plain, 1.316.005 unit untuk rasa strawbery, 1.281.323 unit untuk rasa chocolate, 1.185.123 unit untuk rasa mocca, 1.089.123 unit untuk rasa melon, dan 1.233.123 unit untuk rasa vanilla. Hasil peramalan menggunakan JST mempunyai nilai lebih kecil 9,53 karton atau 0,0034% dari permintaan aktual di perusahaan. Hasil peramalan ini sangat membantu dalam pembuatan jadwal induk produksi (JIP) yang ditunjukkan dengan terpenuhinya permintaan konsumen untuk periode September – Desember 2008. Adapun JIP untuk bulan September – Desember 2008 adalah sebesar 1.721.000 unit untuk bulan September, 1.716.500 unit untuk bulan Oktober, 1.730.000 unit untuk bulan November dan 1.743.500 unit untuk bulan Desember.
English Abstract
Copperation center of Milk Industry PKIS Sekar Tanjung is one of Firm the concern in industry of milk manufacture. Products that produced are Juara Milk (prime product), Idola Milk, Real Good Milk, Sekar Milk dan Starkit Milk with many tastes. Based on the research, it is known that the problem faced by PKIS Sekar Tanjung is difficulty in predicting product demand in order to decide the schedule of head production. In sone production periods, production number is not match with actual demand, so that the consummer demand can’t be fulfilled. The aim of the research is to implementing artificial neural network to predict the product demand in order to decide the schedule of head production and compare the result of predict the product demand with actual demand. This research is held in July until August 2008 at PKIS Sekar Tanjung, Pasuruan. The implementation of Artificial Neural Network is started with projecting network architecture, utilization of Backpropagation learning algorithm, the data testing and analyzing. The decision of the schedule of head production consist of aggregate planning using transportation method and disaggregate planning using Hax and Meal method. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the optimal number of hidden layer is 1 with 5 neurons. The prediction value of juara milk demand for the period of September until December 2008 is 665.915 units for plain taste, 1.316.005 units for strawberry taste, 1.281.323 units for chocolate taste, 1.185.123 units for mocca taste, 1.089.123 units for melon taste and 1.233.123 units for vanilla taste. The result of predict the product demand used ANN have little value 9,53 carton or 0,0034% than actual demand in the firm. This result can helped to decide the schedule of head production, this is visible from fulfilled the actual demand for the period of September until December 2008 with total production in September is 1.721.000 units, 1.716.500 units in October, 1.730.000 units in November and 1.747.500 units in December.
