Abstract
Implementasi teknologi RFID terus berkembang saat ini. Salah satu implementasi teknologi tersebut adalah untuk mencatat presensi pegawai dalam suatu organisasi. Banyak instansi menggunakan teknologi informasi dalam mendukung pekerjaan operasional mereka termasuk institusi pendidikan. Dunia bisnis telah mendorong perlunya menggunakan suatu kartu tanda pengenal yang dapat berperan sebagai front-end untuk mengakses segala fasilitas teknologi di dalam suatu institusi. Kartu pengenal semacam ini sering disebut sebagai smart card. Pada institusi pendidikan, smart card ini selain berfungsi sebagai kartu identitas guru dan pegawai dapat digunakan juga dalam proses presensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengajukan sebuah aplikasi presensi yang dapat melakukan monitoring secara cepat, mudah dan akurat pada proses pencatatan presensi guru dan pegawai. Aplikasi presensi ini juga memudahkan kepala sekolah dalam memantau proses presensi guru dan pegawai secara real-time.
English Abstract
Implementation of RFID technology is constantly evolving. One of its implementation is to record employee presence in an organization. Many organizations use information technology to support their operational work, including education organization. Business world has prompted the need for provision of an identification card, which can also act as a front-end to access all the technological facilities throughout organization. This kind of identification card often called smart cards. In educational organization, smart cards can be utilized as an identity card for the teachers and staff as of for recording their daily presence. The aim in this study is to propose a personal presence application that able to reduce the level of error and cheating in the process of recording teacher and staff presence. This application facilitates the school principal to monitor teacher and staff presence record in real time.
